Re: MLB The Show 24 Patch #11 - Patch Notes
Like I said, I don’t think this has anything to do with patches. Everytime they adjust the attributes, they swing a few of the top players way up, but the bottom players level off. So it’s a roster attribute change that is making it worse and not any changes in gameplay. I really wish they would have separate roster ratings for online and offline because at the end of the year it becomes completely skewed towards the select “diamond” players as they have maxed out pitching and hitting attributes while the rest of the roster is just subpar.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 24 Patch #11 - Patch Notes
Seeing the same with the Cards. Playing classic pitching clean screen including no ball marker. Is there a way to turn off pitcher confidence? I feel like that’s the root cause of my issue. It does not take long for my pitchers to get “hot” indicated by the flame next to their name in the lineup screen. That correlates to high confidence which then allows me to shut down the cpu offense regularly keeping their confidence high. Also seems like pitchers don’t lose confidence quickly so once they obtain it, it takes a lot for it to come down. I see much quicker fluctuating hot/cold streak for my hitters than I see with my pitchers.Comment

I think turning off confidence is just the on screen visual. I don’t believe it has anything to do with a pitcher’s actual confidence.

Re: MLB The Show 24 Patch #11 - Patch Notes
We should get some verification on this bar if its just asthetics or not on screen..cuase as with what the previous poster before you mentioned, this can really be what may be the root of how this all plays out during games. So if turning it off actually effects gameplay then id prolly try shutting it off to see if any more offense etc. is raised over time with the cpu. If anyone knows please chime in.Comment

The bars being anywhere other than the starting point after you're done indicates that the underlying mechanics are still working even when the display is turned off.Comment

Looks like this roster update broke Shane Bieber, lmao

He was perfectly fine prior to the noon update when I was on two hours prior. Obviously, any rosters prior to today has him normal too, so don't get worried. Just advise anyone to not use the live roster as of 5/31 if you were planning on making a Cleveland franchiseComment

I don't think it can be turned off, but if so, that would be great.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 24 Patch #11 - Patch Notes
Once pitching confidence gets to 88% then they get the bump. When this happens pitching is overpowered even on legend. This has been an issue since 23…was fine in 22.Comment
