Jack Flaherty struck out a Rockies player and Boog states something to the effect "I don't care about your draft rank, sit down!"

Maybe it's just me but since the last patch the announcing is awful. They keep saying her o the mound. I'm in the 3rd inning and they say just one more out for a perfect game. I'm playing yankees and arizona and they say now batting manny machado. Is any body else experiencing anything like this

Uniform changes and hair length. They could be working on y2y saves. Oh well. I'd love to buy a new game but until then I'll play 23.

Seems a lot of ppl want Y2Y saves which are probably not coming back. However I understand roster makers want it to not have to start fresh each season. You would think a roster vault transfer should be possible to at least give some what they want.

yes indeed. And hot & cold streaks are affecting defense as well. Look at your fielder ratings, they'll fluctuate. I have a defender who's Fielding rating is 89...so a gold and borderline Diamond. On hot icons...I even saw him a 92 ( diamond).....and went down to 87 sometimes on cold streaks.

Pretty cool I think !

Fatigue effects a lot of things as well. It's designed better than any other sports game out there IMO.

After this patch the commentary is all over the place. I had to shut the announcers off. Playing my Pirates franchise: They referred to Oneil Cruz as "Elly De La Cruz", Ke'Bryan Hayes as "she", they said "welcome to game 7 of the world series" during a game in mid june, and a whole lot more ridiculous quips....The commentary has been pretty awful since launch but now it's unbearable

Same thing happening to me. Curious, no one else is saying anything about this.

I haven't heard that yet. The only thing I noticed since the patch was in the 2nd inning on how Yomomato struggled to throw strikes in the first inning and actually kept going back to the story between action. But he had an easy 123 inning in the first inning.

Seems a lot of ppl want Y2Y saves which are probably not coming back. However I understand roster makers want it to not have to start fresh each season. You would think a roster vault transfer should be possible to at least give some what they want.

That's essentially what y2y is. I'll ask you a question. For the first time I didn't buy the game this season only because of lack of y2y. How many people do you think refuse to buy the game because of a player's hair style or the 19th uniform style for the cardinals? I would assert the number is zero and that a better decision would be to assign developers to getting y2y coded into the game like it was previously.

I'm not going to stipulate y2y will never return because that's a decision by the developers and a different decision could be made in the future. In the meantime I'm enjoying my 23 franchise despite the fact my Midwest Farmers were eliminated in the NLDS and my least favorite team Milwaukee won the WS. Farmers will thrive in 25.

If it’s your stance that Y2Y saves should be patched into game over player likeness updates then you are grossly simplifying the process involved in making Y2Y saves function. Y2Y cannot be patched into the game. It’s impossible due to how it works.

Also the number of people who passed on buying ‘24 due the lack of Y2Y saves is far less than you want to believe. Y2Y saves were a very scarcely used feature.

The patches are more than uniform and likeness updates.

Y2Y saves aren’t coming back in ‘25 and most likely will never return.

So popping in periodically to again share your stance is moot, much like it was when you did it prior to buying ‘23

Unless they announce carry over saves are back I won't bother to watch. The show 22 is good enough for me to keep that franchise going.

Again, the devs working on player likeness and uniforms are not gonna be moved into coding and working on Y2Y. Their trade is art, not coding and not gameplay mechanics

Not a bad stance, but it’s not coming back. It’s available on 5 platforms now and they changed the roster structure, so unfortunately we won’t see the feature. Also only a small percentage of users were using the feature anyway.

You don't seem to understand why Y2Y saves was taken out, why it won't be back, and why literally no other title has ever attempted it even though it has been explained.

Never say never to Y2Y saves. Yes, it is most likely not. But I wouldn’t say never.

This is why I am going to try my hardest next year to keep with my current chise in 24 (I’ll probably still buy 25, can’t help myself). But I am going to try a two year run with the same chise so I can get deeper, my goal is 5 fully played seasons. Not saying I’ll get there, but that is my goal.
