So is it placebo, are people noticing a real difference since the patch this week?Comment

I haven’t been playing a lot. Only three games since patch 12 but I was averaging 8 k per game before and have played 3 games since and have struck out 41 betters. Almost 14 per game. No placebo here.
It feels like 23 to me.Last edited by IndianSummer; 07-04-2024, 09:57 PM.🇺🇸 58,281 🇺🇸Comment

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Senga on the Mets is a cheat code for K’s lol. On Legend+ using dynamic in Spring Training my last start I had 12 K’s in 6 innings. So far in Spring Training after about 5 starts Senga has nearly twice the K’s anyone else has with about same IP.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 24 Patch #12 Adjusts Foul Ball Rate, Fixes CPU Trade Bug and More -
It seems like the CPU offense has reverted back to the 2023 formula. Which wasn’t happening before 14. Every AB starts out with 2 strikes because they’ll stand there and watch them straight down the middle. They were swinging at those before. The CPU had runners on 2nd and 3rd just now. Instead of being aggressive they stood there and watched 3 fast balls down the middle for a strikeout. I’m the instances they are making contact it’s so weak that it’s a lazy pop up or a weak ground out. This game is basically 2023 now and is reminding me of why I absolutely hated that version of the game.
Edit: Just now. Runner on 3rd. No outs. 3 straight Ks looking. One of which was Mike Trout. This is with my 5 starter who is rated 72 overall.Last edited by bronxbombers21325; 07-05-2024, 10:51 AM.Comment

I’m not trying to be a fanboy “I’m not seeing it” every time someone posts something strange, but I’m flat out not getting this. I just finished my morning game. Minnesota beat me 5-4, scoring a late run in the 8th. Minnesota struck out 10 times. The game before CPU struck out 8, game before 4.

Record is 40-38, 5 out of first. I am 3rd in my division runs scored, 1st (worst) in runs allowed.
What is making this game a complete disaster for you (some) and not others. Shouldn’t we all be having the same results? Again, I’m not trying to be a fanboy….at all, but what is going on?Last edited by KnightTemplar; 07-05-2024, 11:19 AM.Comment

this is my result from yesterdays game ( i am the angels ). I'm going to play another game here shortly and see what I get as far as the CPU.
Also, the week in the schedule prior to this game I was playing pretty well and getting some wins, and then I hit a slump and lost 3 straight, so the ups and downs are still a thing in how the game is designed.JUUUUUUUST A BIT OUTSIDEComment

LOL okay so played a game just now and this was the result. Now I've been saying that CPU contact and power at 8, with all other CPU hitting sliders at default have been working great for me, and it has. But this result I'm hoping was just an anomaly. Because holy crap was scared to even throw a pitch the CPU was deadly.
Also, the CPU had 1 HR, 1 triple, 5 doubles, 13 singles, 6 walks, 8 K's.JUUUUUUUST A BIT OUTSIDEComment

Another game I just played a little less crazy result.
Toronto struck out only twice. 9 hits, 3 doubles, 1 home run, 1 walk. Sandoval kept me in the game at least at around 95 pitches. But the cpu was still hard to get out.
Again, this is with all cpu hitting sliders at default except contact and power at 8. 19084779fe284-screenshotUrl.jpegJUUUUUUUST A BIT OUTSIDEComment

I can throw two up and in fastballs for two strikes and low and away sliders and change ups and strike the CPU out on Legend + at a high rate. It's like glitching them out. I'm curious if that's how guys pitch regularly and don't think twice about it.
With that said we should be able to pitch that way if we want, but the CPU should hammer those pitches after so many in a row etc.Twitch
