While its annoying, Pete not signing yet don't bother me much one way or another. It will though bother Pete, take a look at those late signings last year for Boras, yeah yeah they were pitchers but still.. Took them a while to get going!

Even late JD signing last year with the Mets, he wasn't himself at all.

Is what it is, he will sign and if he don't they will make a move to fill that void and head into the season.

This is what scares me, I do not want him to be so hurt by this that he is in his own head all season long. I still think he is coming back to the Mets

Right?

Another reason the why the Mets not gonna bid against themselves with Pete. If he moves on, Vientos can go to first and give some internal guys a shot. Teams need those home grown guys to produce, risky? Sure, but can always make a move for a first basemen if need be.

He's going to get plenty of playing time in my 25 franchise. In fact, I'm trading Mc'Neill as soon as possible and converting Mauricio to be my everyday second baseman. I just hope Sony gives him a three or four points ratings boost to get him more into a 70's OverAll. If the ratings guys at SDS keep him where he was in the last roster update, I'm afraid there's a chance I might hurt his progress. But I'm definitely not playing with Mc'Neill on my team. I just can't stand the guy any longer.

They also need to get his weight right. He’s been listed at 160 for 4 years now. Not SDS fault as it’s his official weight on MLB’s site, but he’s over 200 pounds now.

I have not decided yet if I will trade McNeil but I do want to give Acuna plenty of time at 2B in my franchise. And if I do not have Pete in game I will use Mauricio at 3B

Yes it’s the blue one. I wish it was the black one but they are keeping that for Fridays.

I like the blue one that is being dropped so much better. The new one kind of seems like a change just for the sake of changing. But I guess it kind of goes with the vibe they're giving with the new stripes on the road uniforms. Gives kind of a 1980s feel IMO.

I wish they would have put the cursive New York from the new alternate jersey on the new gray design. Jerseys that aren't white, gray, or powder blue look bush league to me

The cursive would have looked better on the grays with the new stripes. The stripes make the current script look out of place.

I actually prefer they keep the road gray the same, but the blue alternate could’ve been like the 87 road BP uniforms and they could’ve scrapped the black. Would be nice to have blue for home and away like they did in 2015.

Throw the damn money at Bregman this year and move Vientos to 1st and/or throw the bank at Vladdy next year.

He is a good player brought up in our franchise but he is no hall of famer. He is not worth all the trouble. So if he signs with the Mets and bats .230 with 30 HR this year then what ??

Spring Training is like next week and dude is still being a pain.
It is either the Blue Jays or the Mets dude has no other options.

Personally I am ready to move on. Give the Padres the prospects they want and get another good pitcher and we won't even miss his bat.
