    Re: Player Review Thread

    STATS:

    64 AB l 19 H l 11 AB/RISP l 9 H/RISP l 8 XBH l 4 HR l 14 RBI l 1 BB l .297 AVG l

    Intro:

I got Kemp on my road to Jackie Robinson and on paper he looks like a Trout on steroids.

    Fielding:

Possibly the most complete CF and that includes fielding, he can cover a ton of ground, his card seems like it's actually faster than 80, I had an amazing assist with a direct throw ar 3B to save me from losing a game... so far no complaints. 9/10 (needs more testing)
    Hitting:

I'll be the first one to say that i been trying to do too much with Kemp... I started very slow and have been picking up as I go along and learn that power swing with this guy is not working for me... however I been focusing on getting normal swings with the PCI just below the ball and have been very effective doing so. again, part of the issue may be my anxiety to do it all with Kemp.... I been much more successful with Trout (who's hitting well over .330 in 10x more AB). 9/10

    Baserunning:

Looks solid with an 80 speed and 70 Stealing, however I attempted two steals and only got one, he's faster than 80 I must say, he can easily score from first base with typical 2B. 9/10

    Final Thoughts:

I do love this card and it's got a ton of potential, his contact and power ratings are only second to FB Cabrera for possibly the best pure hitter in the game along the likes of 99 A-Rod and Barry Bonds, however in game he hasn't reached anywhere near the likes of A-Rod and Barry Bonds (I'll have these reviews soon).
While I absolutely love this Kemp card in my short playing time with him, I'm not sure he'll be starting over Trout... once I get FB Ichiro card, will be hard to replace Trout.... Bottom Line: There's no reason to grind for this player being that Trout card is so damn amazing, of course the sample playing time is short, so maybe when I get another 200 AB with him I'll update this review.

    Hope this helps!

I just pulled a Stanton and it seems like he has power for days but that's it. Am I better off selling him for 60k? I feel like I am because eventually I'm getting the Bautista and other collection rewards.

Stanton was amazing for me.... his strike zone is a bit big but so is his PSI... when he connects is a bomb.... perfect clean up IMO

Diamond Bautista is a monster and he is not that expensive to get either. U could get him and probably have 55k left over

He may not be the best fielder but for probably 15k u could get Bautista Ichiro and Gwynn and have a ton of stubs left over. U just need to play the innings

                PLAYER NAME AND OVERALL
96 Ovr Miguel Cabrera, It is early for me to review him but i am going to do it anyway lol

                STATS:
                34 AB l 11 H l 6 AB/RISP l 2 H/RISP l 0 2B l 0 3B l 4 HR l 7 RBI l 0 BB l .324 AVG l

                Fielding:
I play him at third base because i have diamond prince at first, but miggy does fairly well over there he has only had a couple of balls that a good fielding 3b would have had but that is about it, he has made a couple of nice snags over there as well so its not a total liablity- 7/10

                Hitting:
Ahh the reason you get him on your squad! nothing surprising here he rakes and rakes and rakes even more he has power to all fields will hit opposite field HRS as much as homers to CF and LF i know it is early for me as i just got him the other day but he has did nothing but produce for me so far- 10/10

                Baserunning:
I dont know if i should review this part of his game but i will do it anyway lol, he is obviously slow with 22 speed but he doesnt get on by infield singles, if you hit it in the gap and it is a large ballpark he will pull up at 2b but if its at fenway and you hit it to left field you are better off to stay at 1b- 4/10

                Final Thoughts:
Well going off of that he is my favorite player i am really happy he is on my team and wouldnt trade him for anything, yes obviously you could have better speed and a better fielder but his hitting is 2nd to none especially when he has a 5 star inside edge which he has most of the time, Miggy is the hitter you want as your cleanup guy if bases are loaded there is no other guy you would want to be in that spot than the dangerous Miguel Cabrera - 9/10

He's not that bad in the field. I played him at 3b for quite a while and he was surprisingly solid. He has a gun for an arm which helps.

he has 45 fielding bro. he will drop pop flies, I can't use anyone who I can't trust to catch pop up. I will never start him, Nelson Cruz, or Harper regardless of how well they can hit. I'm about to bench Matt Holliday because he can't even play LF in minute maid without screwing up practically every game.

I justo think Harper fielding was a problem but 69 fielding with 74 reaction is not that bad . Havent had a problem with him yet and hitting well his what you'd expect Great. And if he gets a speed boost in the future his fielding will be even better

Update on my CF Kemp review...

Hitting has turned a 10/10... this guys is a total beast!! has the ability to score homers well outside the zone, he's batting with an OPS of 1100+ and .330's.... He's on my #2 in my line up behind Ichiro and Trout is not happy

Seriously, I think this card may be broken, there's no way one can hit two homers in one game when the ball (on one of those homers) was about a foot and a half above the strike zone. Kemp is one of my 3-4 favorite cards in the game.

I ended up selling Stanton as it seemed like his price was a bit inflated this weekend, I'm going for that Ichiro, Bautista and Gwynn outfield, that was my plan all along once I saw them all haha...

Quick reviews on some of my favorite cards so far, in all cases these are cards I own and all have over 50 AB.

                            - Alex Rodriguez (3B NYY) 99 OVR - San Diego nailed ARod with this version, he crushes the ball off righties and has an amazing PSI that covers pretty much 60% of the plate.
He has been solid in the #3 hitter spot with 184 AB, 13 2B, 3 3B, 21 HR, 41 RBI, .353 AVG (.375 from righties), .364 OBP, 1092 OPS Defensibly he's at .988 has been phenomenal with some amazing diving plays- Just get this card!! worth the grind

                            - Reggie Stocker (AKA Barry Bonds LF SF) 99 OVR - I hated Barry Bonds and I didn't really care for this card, it was just in my way to Jackie Robinson... I couldn't be more wrong.... the first AB a 499 Monster, he has been just tearing it up. holds a perfect record defensively as well and has 6/8 SB... his numbers are ludicrous... i mean part of the issue to online pitchers with this guy is that he has about 6 cold zones from righties, so they keep aiming there... all I do is just sit between the cold zones and hit X, whatever awesomesauce happens later has nothing to do with me.... ready for these numbers? 97 AB, 12 2B, 14 HR, .375 AVG (.408 from righties), .406 OBP, 1145 OPS.... he is sick sick sick....

                            - Johnnie Bench (C, Reds) 98 OVR - Biggest surprise of any card... I was had him in the #8 hole and really didn't even consider this card due to Posey being good.... however I kept giving up stolen bases.... until Bench, now I pretty much trow out over 70% of the runners... he is literally a throw out machine... having said that, his offensive numbers are comparable to those of the guys above... he has been no short of amazing and clutch! 50 AB, 6 2B, 2 3B, 5 HR, 19 RBI, .360 AVG, .369 OBP, 1165 OPS!!... I know this is a shorter sample with only 50 AB but wow! If you want the best defensive catcher in the game... get him, if you want the best offensive beast catcher in the game, also get him

These are three of my favorite 5 cards in the game....

real solid hitter without much speed, you decide from there it all depends who else you got
