Intro:
I got Kemp on my road to Jackie Robinson and on paper he looks like a Trout on steroids.
Fielding:
Possibly the most complete CF and that includes fielding, he can cover a ton of ground, his card seems like it's actually faster than 80, I had an amazing assist with a direct throw ar 3B to save me from losing a game... so far no complaints. 9/10 (needs more testing)
Hitting:
I'll be the first one to say that i been trying to do too much with Kemp... I started very slow and have been picking up as I go along and learn that power swing with this guy is not working for me... however I been focusing on getting normal swings with the PCI just below the ball and have been very effective doing so. again, part of the issue may be my anxiety to do it all with Kemp.... I been much more successful with Trout (who's hitting well over .330 in 10x more AB). 9/10
Baserunning:
Looks solid with an 80 speed and 70 Stealing, however I attempted two steals and only got one, he's faster than 80 I must say, he can easily score from first base with typical 2B. 9/10
Final Thoughts:
I do love this card and it's got a ton of potential, his contact and power ratings are only second to FB Cabrera for possibly the best pure hitter in the game along the likes of 99 A-Rod and Barry Bonds, however in game he hasn't reached anywhere near the likes of A-Rod and Barry Bonds (I'll have these reviews soon).
While I absolutely love this Kemp card in my short playing time with him, I'm not sure he'll be starting over Trout... once I get FB Ichiro card, will be hard to replace Trout.... Bottom Line: There's no reason to grind for this player being that Trout card is so damn amazing, of course the sample playing time is short, so maybe when I get another 200 AB with him I'll update this review.
Hope this helps!
