Finally finished the Brock Holt diamond starter mission. I ended up getting the 93 ovr Tom Seaver. In my last vs CPU game, I got a double and triple with Jackie Robinson, but alas, I did not get four hits in total. I still haven't learned to hit consistently with him yet.

How do those packs work, anyway. Are you guaranteed a diamond? I got AJ pollock in mine, but the gold pack might get a nice gold card after I finish Dante Bichette

I believe there are four possible rewards in each tier. Other than Seaver and Pollock, I believe the other diamonds you could have gotten were a 92 Chris Archer or a 91 Eric Karros.

My gold starter mission was to get 40 K's with rookie Rick Porcello. My gold pack contained an 85 ovr breakout David Peralta. I've heard that others have gotten an 85 Dave Stieb, 87 post season Tony Perez, and 85 Mike Minor.

Oh, I thought you'd just have a pick of any possible non-live gold. that's actually kind of cool that you can only get the card that way. Pollock is a monster with 90+ contact both ways and 80 speed

I may lose my mind trying to get 3 hits with Rookie Posada...had a game where he hit a leadoff bomb, the second AB roped a double, then a weak flyout, then smashed a ball in the gap that Pillar somehow ran down with a diving catch on the warning track....since then haven't gotten more than 2 hits in the last 12 games with him.

Mine is quickly becoming Buddy Bell ...

I got him a day or two before the patch dropped when hitting doubles was an actual possibility (I finished the 15 doubles with hardware players, for instance) ... but then the patch dropped and it nerfed hitting, and now I'm finding this challenge to be infuriating.

His contact is great, but his power on both sides of the plate isn't which is resulting in a lot of soft liners directly at outfielders or ground balls on the infield. Add in his 49 speed and he can't even leg out close plays and create doubles for himself, the way a faster player could.

I can't count how many games I've played now and I've still got two more doubles to go. I'm about ready to cry, lol.

I just want my Kinsler!

Score five runs with impact veteran Omar Vizquel has been driving me insane. Getting him on base isn't a problem but getting him home is a different story. I think i need to rethink my gameplan and use him as a pinch runner when someone is on third.

^ that's exactly how I got his runs done. Same thing with Karros.. If you have a speedy player, steal bases to get to third, sub him in & bam simple as that.

Im currently sitting on multiple player epics in my daily missions that I cant do because they are all tied to events. I constantly get event daily missions, which is pretty sweet seeing as how they never put events up.

Yeah, I really like the whole Daily Mission thing, but it's horribly implemented. Maybe if the 3 missions were always one offline, one ranked seasons, one BR and one Event would make more sense as I'm sure most peoples are clogged up with missions for modes they don't use or can't use

Having the same issue. Wish they would only make these daily missions available when you can actually complete them. At least give us a free re-roll or additional mission slot for when we get one when there's no event.

I don't really want to sit on this Ozzie Smith mission if I have to wait 3 weeks. I know I'll never use him, he'd just be cool to have.

Well, it would have been nice if these actually were daily missions.
I think something went wrong day one, and they never gotten around to fixing it. Or they don't know how.
I mean, there actually is a disclaimer over half the screen "Next daily available in.." which is completely useless and pointless as they utilize this system.

The idea had to be that every day three missions rotate and you have 24 hours to complete them, with one re-roll per day. And then it would make sense to have one offline, one online and one exchange mission.

Hopefully next year it will get fixed.

Finally finished the 100 hits with Brock Holt. It seemed like I was never gonna get that finished. I was able to get Diamond Archer out of my diamond pack though.

I am working on a few different missions now. Hardware doubles is pretty annoying, 3 wins with rookie Sherzer is getting on my nerves because he never gets selected, and 10 hits with Rookie Robin Yount is getting old because he hits it right at guys all day. Gotta just keep on grinding.

Completed all my 13 Team Epics, in the end nothing too frustrating, perhaps Buddy Bell's 5 doubles but that was insignificant, struggled for a while on 2/5, then hit three in two conquest games in a row.
Not touching all those players with online requirements, not worth the time or effort.

Since diamond players are still too expensive, made a decision not to buy any on the market. Just buying 20K packs, if I get lucky, great. Of course, never will I complete all, that would be insane. Two more trips through Conquest, just in time to trade baseball for the beach until Destiny and FIFA get released.
