Re: What are you working on?

Im sure someone will yell at me for posting something negative but decided to play today for first time in a while, grinded out some IV walks and did the mariners pitching mission for Felix with Paxton. Of course I got a server error and the game didnt count. Such a damn joke.

I felt bad for you up until the 'Such a damn joke' comment. Seriously, the way you obviously feel about the game through all your posts, why don't you just stop playing and let those of us who like the game enjoy it? I don't like certain things about the game, but that doesn't leave me saying 'Such a damn joke', and overall the game is a fun experience

Woooo finally finished my Epic McCutchen and David Wright missions!!!! Gonna hop back into Ranked play for awhile. Been 2 weeks of grinding CPU games and I was getting pretty bored haha. Pitcher CPU missions are so frustrating since you can't just pick the guy you want.

Congrats, those team epics are a complete grind. Just finished Cutch myself, along with being most of the way to 30 hits with Jackie for the Greinke card. At least Jackie is an all star so can double up towards the Sandberg mission. No idea why they made these epics (or any mission) against CPU only, it really makes them a grind, same for BR/RS or event only missions.

Think they'd be better off doing what they've started doing with the programs and just let us do all missions on whatever mode we want tbh

Re: What are you working on?

Yeah it's fun beating up on the CPU for awhile but it gets tedious. The batter missions I don't mind because at least I have a shot at it every game. Starting and quitting games until you get your SP is sooooo frustrating though. And 40 innings? FU make it 36 so I can finish he damn mission with 4 CG

Re: What are you working on?

What feels like about 2 months after I first got the Daily Mission, the Wizard is finally mine. All that grinding has put me on 37 event wins, 97 overall, so I figure I'll win the other 3 and decide what to do with Longo, plus unlock Cal Ripken from my Dynasty program. Not a bad haul of defensive players all in one day!

After that I figure it's time to get back to RS play and maybe even use some of these players I keep unlocking. Sold the Nolan Ryan I got for winning 12 in the Event and bought Kris Bryant, so now it's just Joey Votto standing between me and Ernie Banks (yet another shortstop, no idea who will actually play)

Re: What are you working on?

Finally was able to get Chris Sale, so I finished the Red Sox collection, getting the Damon Postseason card, have to get two triples with him, no idea how much of a pain that's going to be, under normal circumstances, it would surely be hell, but I did buy Polo Grounds for it, which I heard helps a lot.

I am finishing off my second run of Conquest before I start that grind though, since I'm only 10 wins away from a free 10 packs, most likely of garbage, but at the very least I'll get a few random duplicates I can use in an exchange later.

Throwing in the towel on Season Monster. Got up to 860 but have plummeted to 780 in one day and won't have the time these next 2 weeks. So I'm working on the All Star Programs, Oswalt Program and Griffey Hardware Stats

Trying to slowly get through the team epics & collect missions. I'm completely done with the collect all for the Rays, White Sox, Royals, Twins, A's, Phillies, Brewers, Pirates, Cardinals & Padres. I finished all of the team epics for those except for the Twins & Pirates. 40 innings with Hughes & Drabek is insane. I have 21 innings done for each. Does placement in rotation make a difference? Any suggestion on which team I should start next? I'm thinking either Miami or Atlanta.

I've been stuck on the homeruns needed to finish the Chipper program. Having to do it in ranked seasons is such a grind. Even though it's only a silver card i love Chipper and 3rd base would be his in my squad even though i have much better rated players for third. If i knew if i was facing a lefty or righty it would be easier to do it , no way i start rookie adam jones or Cruz against righties.

Slowly getting the IP and K's to finish Oswalt. Doing it in Ranked so K's are tough to get

What's the best stadiums for double & triples? I love the big stadiums where you really have to hit one to get it out. So a lot of the major league stadiums are a no go for me.

People say Polo grounds, but for me it's a waste of money. Tigers Stadium is an absolute haven for doubles and triples, it's where I managed all my missions and doesn't cost thousands
