This clip sums up moments for me. Anyone want to guess how many hits I missed completing this by? If there are cards that you earn in moments, they should be sellable on the market. I’d much rather spend money to get them than put up with this BS.

That **** happens constantly too. The AI is horrendous at base running. All those moments that required an XBH were brutal because the computer doesnt even run on clear gappers until the ball lands. The fact that they force these to us and then dont quality test **** like this, or more likely just dont give a ****, is really annoying.

Another one of my favorites is when you need a XBH or a steal but the AI puts the pitcher on base in front of you every single time. Also a real hoot.

I was doing the Rickey Henderson moment where you need a hit and a steal and kept having that happen. Every time that happened, I just bunted hoping the pitcher on base would be thrown out and I'd get an opportunity to attempt a steal.

The player lock RTTS stuff is just horrible. Just let me control the baserunners.

So I took the Lou Gehrig rookie for my initial Diamond card because I have always liked him.

Anyway.....so in DD I have played all most all veteran games and in those games with Gehrig I am batting .421 w/721 slugging in 152 AB. I actually have to wait a bit to swing at FB with him or I am too far ahead of them.

So I kind of got excited when I gave up on the Ruth moment and all of a sudden I am using Gehrig. (4 Hrs in 4 games) I rake with his rookie card.....so....lol So far after an hour of replaying the 1st game over and over I have yet to hit a single homer. I have 2 doubles and only 5 singles in an hour. I can't catch up to 84 mph fastballs just like Ruth.....I just don't get it.....

I assume the card in this moment is better than his rookie card...

If anyone lives near Eau Claire WI and wants to come show me this is possible I would like to see it.....

I seriously can't make this up....all though I do have one positive....I moved on to Harper and his 11 game moment. I turned off the swing feedback...which definitely helped...I got a lot of hits....still no homers though....despite having the hits after only 5 games and hitting a lot of doubles and triples.....no homeruns. So after about 5.5 hours of playing moments with Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, and Harper....I had a grand total of 1 homerun that wasn't an in the park which I had one. Good times.

A pretty innocuous clip, I think we'll all agree, but that's Mookie Betts jogging after that ball with a silver fielding shield beneath his feet. He has 99 fielding, it even says so if you go in the menus in that moment, but they have fiddled with everything beneath the surface and his actual in game, hidden attributes are what, 30 points lower? That's on his fielding, but it's pretty safe to assume it's across the board based on how it plays.

They think they can keep lying and pretending nothing has been fiddled with, but they forgot that their own in game mechanics give the game away

Yeah the time crunch associated with moments just doesn’t work out at all. I can spend 45 min trying to complete one moment for 1000xp max(usually way less) or I can play a RS game in 45 min and earn close to 5000xp

The new moment where you need to win a game and get a hit with Babe Ruth is ridiculously rigged, even by moment standards. You don't get an at bat until the 4th inning, that's literally not possible. Throw in that your team never scores any runs and you're in for a fun time

I played that Ruth pitching mission 7 times today, my teammates didn't score a single run in any of the games. Whoever thinks it's a good idea to have a 30 minute long mission in which the human player has no control over whether they finish it successfully or not must have serious developmental problems.

Literally wasted about 3 hours doing that nonsense, for zero reward, with nothing I really could have done about it (except hit a homer I guess with 50 power Ruth?)

I will say that the new missions with the streamers doesn't seem to be neutered as much. I was struggling a bit on the 6 inning game on All Star and then in the 5th inning everything became buttery smooth and it didn't really occur to me how much frame rate issues I have been having. It has been going on so much I didn't realize how consistently bad it was. I immediately scored 3 runs and had no issues getting strikeouts again. I don't know if it is all of it, but, it looks like the frame rate is what is killing me.

Follow up game won 9-2 on All Star...gave up the 2 runs during the only inning I had frame rate issues. Pitcher missing spots by a mile...ump squeezing me....2nd baseman bobbled an easy dp ball to load the bases. I am positive now the frame rate is the issue.

I kinda feel like a ton of these are already done, and they are fully committed to roll with these the entire year. The ones that they are still making probably take minimal time and effort to create as well. This was their vision for this year of DD.

We'll get a few more conquest maps, and some boring events, but we are going to get hundreds of these boring unfun Moments.

Quite honestly the rewards just aren’t worth the time.....for anything.

Most of the moments rewards you can obtain in the market for 50,000 or less.

Conquest rewards are golds and will never crack my line up.

I started doing this latest event which is now 25 cumulative wins instead of 20 and nets you a card going for 11,000 in the market so I just stopped.

I hate to complain about free rewards but they made so easy to build a great team this year that I just don’t have a desire to do most of this stuff. It’s RS for me which is its own lesson in frustration at times. At least it was easy to build a good team imagine having no choice but to suffer these moments.....

I know we all hated the grinds last year but man I now believe it was light years better than this.

Thought I would grind out the new moments for Griffey. Did the easy ones had the games left. Started the Nola vs Mariners one.

Unf***** real. In the first try there was a flyball hit into shallow RF that Harper and Herrera were coming in on and it miraculously dropped in front of them. But wait there's more! The ball got past BOTH and all the way to the wall. So runner in scoring position and wouldn't you know it. Haniger comes up and i quickly get him to 2 strikes. Throw a curveball a foot outside and hit my spot perfect and he sends it into the stands for a walkoff.

Second game I blaze through the first. It appears you always get 1 run and only 1 run. Get through the second no problem. Last inning...4 straight balls with 2 in the zone. Next hitter is Dee Gordon who hits a grounder to 3rd that gets through. Won't really complain there even though it was hit right at Franco because it was a rocket. But THEN on the THROW BACK INTO THE INFIELD the ball inexplicably gets thrown into RF so the runner on, who was walked on 4 straight with clear strikes along the way, is now on 3rd and Gordon is on 2nd. I'm guessing you can figure out who won the game. It wasn't me.

Third try I said screw it and just started throwing everything down the middle. Struck out 2 in the first and 2nd. Blazed through. In the 2nd I drove in a run with Nola. LOL. Now it's 2-0 and I'm thinking wow this is finally over.

Good one. Multiple errors in the 3rd. Multiple runners on base. I start actually pitching now and watch a walk off 3 run hr fly out with 0 outs because no one can play defense I guess.

Cool game. Guess I won't get Griffey after all because forget this noise.
