If it wasn't for the xp early on and the CAP upgrades these would be a complete waste of time and not worth it at all, the sony partners gives you a headliner packs but chances of you getting anything higher than silver is minimal. It makes you despise the game and SDS for producing such a poorly executed mode.

Yeah, early on the Xp meant something. Now it barely dents the meter, I'm better off getting XP from other modes that don't make me question how I'm spending my time.

The CAP missions were actually alright. These sound like the absolute worst.

Hopefully....we get improved content

Because I absolutely hate these moments as they are currently done I haven’t done any since I finished the ridiculous Sony Partner Missions. I decided to go back to the Topps missions.
Bryce Harper 2 homers 3 games.

Game 1:
Walk

Game 2:

HR (yay!)
Walk

Game 3:
Strike Out (all on the black)

**** these moments ****wasting my time. I’m 100% done with this total BS. Moments difficulty is not what it’s advertised as. Hitting missions the CPU will either walk you like crazy or paint black like DeVinci. Pitching missions the CPU will get that clutch hit no matter where you throw it. Fielding missions your lucky to get the number of outs you need even hit too you. Did they bother testing this horribly planned mode? So done. I would rather attend an insurance seminar than suffer the boredom and wasted time of moments mode.

I mean, it took me 5 tries to do that Mission. If u don’t hit a HR in the first game just reset it. It’s Veteran, don’t take the walk. Just swing wildly at everything and sometimes you get lucky. I get that some of these missions are over the top. But complaining about this one seems like a little much.

Seriously, a silver rookie player as a reward for playing 3 missions on roided up all star? Why would anyone want to do that?

At least you can get a level 80 gold for the new event...

Yeah, given that they aren't time sensitive, I've been holding off on any of them that look remotely tough until I see what those packs are.

What are the odds you'll need like 8 tickets for a pack and the pack will give you "a chance" to get a Topps card, like the god awful packs at the end of last year?

Your right but it’s just par for the course with these moments. We shouldn’t have to swing wildly hoping to get lucky. Play a game on veteran and you won’t walk 9 times in 20 at bats ever but in these hitting missions on Veteran you get walked at least 40% of the time and they are crazy out of the strike zone walks

EDIT: And this is why I complain. Ohtanis Bat Moment 3 Hits 1 HR in 1 game on rookie. Should be easy. I decided I’m going to keep track of each pitch.

AB 1) First 3 pitches in the dirt and 7 of the first 8 out of the strike zone. Most of them way out and I went down flailing at them, fouled 1 off.

AB 2) First pitch I ripped a double

AB 3) 6 straight pitches way out of the strike zone I walked but tried to swing at 2 horrible pitches.

AB 4) First Pitch a Double off the wall.

Game over mission failed. I had 4 at bats and saw 16 pitches only 3 pitches thrown in the strike zone. It’s a joke a total joke.

There's literally a moment that revolves around Judge hitting 0-2 fastballs... so they throw you sliders and changeups out of the zone. Sony logic.

Play as Cliff Lee and win a 3 inning game on All Star. Sounds easy, 11 shutout innings later, still 0-0. Seriously, who designed these with random situations?

Ok I don’t know wether to laugh or cry. So the Ohtani moment all the CPU does is walk me half the time so I decided to move on the next moment. Red Sox bottom of the 8th need 6 runs to win. Also on rookie but guess how many times the CPU walks me now? Zero....now they paint the black and their fielding is amazing. I don’t mind if they are going to make these hard but don’t insult us and tell us it’s Rookie or Veteran difficulty when it’s clearly not and instead the difficulty designed around the moment objective.

I share your pain. I had a game I lost with Cliff Lee, went 12 innings, and Lee was gassed for 3 of them. Indians had 6 hits, Lee had 4 of them

Trying to say this without coming off as whiny, but some of these moments are impossible just because of the sightlines. You've got a lefty batter facing a lefty pitcher with the batter in shadows and the pitcher in bright sun or vice versa. Especially on the "all-star" missions, I just have no shot of putting a good swing on the ball. And I get with the vintage missions (Mays, Ruth, etc.) they didn't play night games, but I'm simply throwing my PCI in one direction and praying I guessed right.

How do you adjust sliders tho because I cannot beat the hit one Homer 3 runs 3 hits and don't k 5 times on all star for first inning. I had 12 hits and several doubles and triples. Despite perfect swings and the wall being 400 feet away I can't hit the Homer for the life of me. Seeing as I need 9 program points do u guys have any other suggestions of what I can do?
