It took me 25 minutes to hit a HR with Hoskins off Luke "Cy Young" Jackson. I launch bombs everywhere until I do moments that require them.
I think they could do a much better job setting the moments up. I appreciate a good grind aspect but these are just brutal. Especially the longer ones that require full games or multiple innings. It's such a time sink for little payoff. I don't understand why they don't just recreate every at-bat pitch-by-pitch. If we're reliving something that happened give us the same pitch sequence. If we don't execute then that's on us and we restart. But it's jarring watching guys like Jackson go from spiking four breaking balls and walking me to painting the black like Maddux back to throwing it over the backdrop. If these are moments then hardwire them. The rewards aren't so crazy there needs to be some super difficulty to them with the variation.
I'm all about making a harder tier with better rewards. But when have VERY specific stats we have to get when batting it would be nice to have a little bit of a buffer. Once you get deep into some of these it becomes a sunk cost with time and just feels really bad.
