Re: Some of these Moment missions are dumb
I don't play the kind of games aimed at kids and social influencers/streamers, whatever you want to call them, but I've never played a game that attempted to buy specific people to this degree. It's really odd to me. I've seen games do fan service, but it's normally the general fandom, not just 9 specific peopleComment

Re: Some of these Moment missions are dumb
No idea why I was punishing myself with these moments.....Finally went to other modes and back to crushing breaking balls and fastballs....it seems like the difficulty in those is for sure above all star no matter what it says....
I can't stand the black and white stuff either....my eyes all ready hate me for playing this game...Comment

Re: Some of these Moment missions are dumb
Just something I noticed, but I’m having a easier time on many of those veteran moments since yesterday’s patch. I’m wondering if they were originally slaving off the main menu difficulty. Might be worth people trying them again. Maybe I got lucky, but they don’t feel as utterly impossible as they did before.

Re: Some of these Moment missions are dumb
I'll never do all of the moments but they came in handy last night as I was sitting at 293 programs points and looked for a couple to do to get me to 300.
Did the Willie Mays homerun one but managed to get an inside the park HR after maybe 8 or 10 tries.
Then I did the Rogers Hornsby one where you needed 4 total bases. I got a single and two doubles in my first attempt.Comment

Re: Some of these Moment missions are dumb
This posey mission is ridiculous. Get an xbh finally and they walk me the rest of the game. God forbid the ai throw a ****ing strike.

Re: Some of these Moment missions are dumb
Yeah, I spotted that as well. It'll be really weird if they genuinely make these a big part of the game.

It’s every sports and competitive online game for the most part. They go out of their way to take care of steamers.

This is why I hate Polo Grounds: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5RU4pMr2gY
That's considered a triple because reasons. errors, no bad throws, but a triple because "We can't have these challenges being too easy(probably)"Comment

Re: Some of these Moment missions are dumb
Because I absolutely hate these moments as they are currently done I haven’t done any since I finished the ridiculous Sony Partner Missions. I decided to go back to the Topps missions.
Bryce Harper 2 homers 3 games.
Game 1:
Walk
Walk
Walk
Fly out to the warning track
Game 2:
Walk
Double
Walk
HR (yay!)
Walk
Game 3:
Strike Out (all on the black)
Walk
Fly out to the warning track
Double
*Extra innings
Walk
*Still Extra Innings
Walk
**** these moments ****wasting my time. I’m 100% done with this total BS. Moments difficulty is not what it’s advertised as. Hitting missions the CPU will either walk you like crazy or paint black like DeVinci. Pitching missions the CPU will get that clutch hit no matter where you throw it. Fielding missions your lucky to get the number of outs you need even hit too you. Did they bother testing this horribly planned mode? So done. I would rather attend an insurance seminar than suffer the boredom and wasted time of moments mode.Comment

Re: Some of these Moment missions are dumb
Seriously **** this goddam Posey mission. I'm still stuck on this bull****. I can hit gappers with him all day on hof and legend when playing conquest or vs cpu but in the mission for the CAP C he can't hit **** all of a sudden. Making Meada look like a superstar 🙄Comment

Re: Some of these Moment missions are dumb
Hallelujah !!! Finally got the Posey one done after hunreds of attempts. I don't expect an easy pass but having to waste multiple hrs on one mission is just not fun for the game. Some of these take longer than a 9 inning game and that's just wrong.Comment

Re: Some of these Moment missions are dumb
If it wasn't for the xp early on and the CAP upgrades these would be a complete waste of time and not worth it at all, the sony partners gives you a headliner packs but chances of you getting anything higher than silver is minimal. It makes you despise the game and SDS for producing such a poorly executed mode.Comment
