It took me 8 attempts to strike out Colon in the reverse mission!

Guys I lied after complaining earlier I finished the Griffey moments :0

Almost set myself up for a rage again in the full 9 inning game but pulled ahead late for the win. I only kept at it because I sorely needed some LH bats in the lineup. Getting Griffey allowed me to get a solid defensive OF with Griffey, Cain and Judge and all of them can handle the bat too. For now Ronnie slides to the bench until and unless he gets some major defensive upgrades but that's some solid pop on the bench so I'm ok with it. Still a little RH heavy but overall the splits aren't terrible so I feel like the balance works out better.

Thats it? Took me like 20. Got him to 0-2 with ease every time and then could never put him away.

I got lucky on pitcher one, took me about 4 tries.

But I didn't realize how hard it was to hit a homer with Bellinger. I'm having a harder time with that one than the Bartolo one

I timed warren's release. it's exactly 7 seconds long from start to delivery
I could walk a guy but I'm watching rockets-warriors and this is helping me multitask lol


Needed one more out and my SS commits an error but that counts as giving up a hit? **** me

Haven't played the moments for a break. Tried one game with Lou Gehrig. Pulled a no doubt homer off the foul pole and a double to the gap. Game is super smooth. No problems with power.
I am going to try resetting my ps4 every now and again and see if it takes care of the frame rate issue.
I am not up on how to make videos. I am probably going to learn. I bet this is a big part of the problem.

I should mention that in one of the moments I did something I have never done before....I picked off Ichiro at 1st base. I have never picked anyone off. Funniest part is I did it with out seeing it because I decided to do it while I was looking something up on the computer.......so it really was a no look pick off....

They can say veteran or all star all they want. But this pitching is on legend. they throw so many balls some ABs you can't even swing once. They are clowns.

During the twitch streams I pointed out on reddit that when they talked about getting rid of souvenirs, I wondered what would replace them as those were a perfect revenue stream for them. There was no way they were removing a cash cow out of the kindness of their hearts. As per usual, I was beaten to death for being skeptical of the game. Flash forward now a month and change into the release and it appears we have the answer to souvenirs replacements...moments. Moments seem to be there frustrate you to the point of buying stubs. Can’t earn enough points but really want that card? You’ll (not everyone) take out that wallet.

Moments when announced sounded so fun. What a genius idea I thought. Now I see what they’re really there for, a cash grab. As a predominately offline/play with friends player of DD, besides conquest mode there’s literally nothing for me to do in DD. So much potential wasted in my opinion.

Ok the 1961: veteran no-hitter is the most frustrating Moment so far geeeeezzzzz.

I’ve reached the point to the last out a number of times and everytime they get a freakin blooper hit!!!!!

I almost think I believe them now when they said they dont intentionally make the moments harder. I started playing RTTS yesterday and I just threw it on Veteran to start and I am rarely seeing strikes, eerily similar to moments. Wondering if its more of a player lock issue than something specifically tied to moments.

So I circled back to the Partner Moments because I only had 3 left. Finished the 2 hits one versus Oswalt fairly quick and then got the 3 total bases within 10 minutes. So all that was left was the game vs SS Kershaw and the loaded team.

I can honestly say it's the first time I've played a moment and it played out at the difficulty listed. The pitch speed wasn't as fast as other moments at the same difficulty. Kershaw was throwing everything down the middle and I DOMINATED the offense. I was really surprised how easy it was which really convinces me some of these other ones really are juiced up.

Didn't get anything out of the Headliner pack but at least wrapped up that set. With the Topps Now vouchers essentially being useless I don't know how many of those I'll bother with. Still haven't really touched too many of the storyline ones because they all seem like such a time sink.
