I still haven't been able to get this stupid Ian Kinsler moment. I've probably spent an hour and a half on it. I've used directional, and zone can't get it. Most I've gotten is 5 bases. I did manage to finish up the WBC program tonight though. I'm sitting at 497k on the xp program so should be able to take full advantage of double xp this weekend!

I'm trying to beat the WBC Showdown but I can't. Twice I've made it to the final boss only to lose. I hit liner after liner after liner right at people or all I can muster is infield pop ups. First time I played it I only scored 3 runs and lost 14-13. The second time I tied it at 14 but it doesn't count cause you got to win the game. I'm just so frustrated with it cause they make you start all over if you don't beat it and I don't know what more I could have done to make all those liners I hit not get caught.

OMG!!! I finally beat the WBC Showdown!! After so many ties at it and it came with dramatic results. One of the moments I was down to my last out and hit a HR with Pete Alonso to win it. Then during the final showdown (which I started down 14-6) I was once again down to my last out with a runner at 3rd down 14-13 and hit a HR with Trout to beat it. Now I'm only 5 stars away from completing the WBC program.

I am 7 players away from Jeter , i still need Degrom ,Trout, Ohtani, Judge, and the 3 Mets guys . Should be able to finish the Atl conquest and Jazz tonight so hoping for more pack luck , ive only pulled 2 big diamonds so far and they have both been Mookie. i guess after the conquest ill either go into BR or Ranked depending on if they have the MS bugs worked out because i really want to finish the lefty one and do some Team Affinity seasons.

Don't think I'll use mcgwire since I have Joc at first and Soto at the dh but I threw him on the bench for now

As for pitching side; I don't think there's a particularly intriguing choice of Captain right now (though the Pressley Captain card has served me well). I may just go with a Legend-heavy approach for pitching for the time-being.

I’ve been using Hoffman for my pitching captain. He boosts Dibble, Rogers, and Soto, then there always seems to be a live series RP that gets an IE boost that can be added to get to the tier 2 boost.

I’m pretty much at the same place with you with live series. I need the two Cards instead of Judge. I’m not even sure best path, I have 210k in stubs. Kind of thinking it’s best to get Trout out of the way first.

I’m in a long diamond drought though, so taking a while to build up stubs.

I’ve seen some mention of mini season problems, but I did finish one today without a problem.

I'm going to be able to close out the Angels collection today. That will be a first as I usually give up, but I got lucky pulling Trout the first week . Bought Ohtani last night and now just have to get all the scrubs. Still a ton of other expensive cards I don't have so the full collection will take a while. I'm barely ever pulling diamonds this year. The pack odds seem horrific.

I should have Trea after these Topps now moments

Not sure whether to just buy cards at quick sell now where I find them, invest stubs, buy towards chipper collection or just start buying cars towards building the best team I can.

Don't see a scenario where ill be using a captain I don't think, maybe a switch hitting boost maybe?

I do think I'll keep sosa/Jeter on the team all year since they're core

For you guys using Set 1 cards....Elly de la Cruz has a super nice swing. I've been using him in my Reds franchise and even with his low ratings in 'chise, he's excellent. I have a hunch his Future Stars card will translate quite beautifully.

I think I counted 11 new Topps now cards this week to go towards set 1 collection. Think that'll get me to 116...im starting to run into that problem already where im having more players that I like than spots to use them in.

My pitching still hot garbage and weak tho. Dustin may prob my best pitcher but people have seen alot of him last few years

I think the Pedro card was nasty in br but will take chipper first I imagine. Pedro 2nd bc I can never hit with babe

Man...I can't hit since my Elite S2 controller bit the dust. I'm tired today and not totally engaged but I can't hit at all right now. I had the Elite tuned exactly to what I needed it for my tendencies and I'm overextending the PCI now.

The PowerA controller I bought is really nice. The sticks are actually way better than I thought they'd be and definitely better than stock Xbox controllers. I have a Kontrol Freek on the right stick and pitching feels really good. It's the PCI movement that has me right now.

I might end up just using the S1 Elite at this rate.

Finished Topps Now and collected a handful of Set 1 cards to get Jazz and put him in the lineup for now. Also picking off as many Set 1 cards close to quick-sell that I can. Very low on Stubs but this was the plan all along. Pulled Clase from a BIAH pack and I think I'm just going to keep all AL cards to work on Live Series since I have the NL done.

Might keep messing around in Mini Seasons or something to try and adjust to life without my S2. Definitely not feeling too hot today so not playing online like I planned.
