I’m stuck at work and a bunch of websites are blocked, is that the Sept Lightning Tyler O’Neill POTM from a couple years back that you’re talking about. Also where is the DeJong coming from, the duo packs?

I haven't even look at my God squad for like 3 or 4 weeks bc I've just been chipping at ta, clemente, race of 98, etc.

EVERY player on my God squad except for trout, core Jeter, mantle (wild card), helsey, nenn, and gagne are set 3

Pretty wild, other then bullpen arms I'm not seeing any replacements I like in set 4....unless I just haven't played enough and my inventory sucks or something

Just finished the Set 4 collection, thanks to the latest program drops plus the flash sale.

I usually actually buy the flash sale packs. I know it’s a losing proposition from a stubs standpoint, but I still enjoy the thrill of opening packs and hitting on something valuable…even if it’s a 10k 99 OVR card that I got from a pack that cost 20k.

I ended up buying O’Neill for 572,123. I figured that I had 1.4 million stubs, so why not. I got to 20 wins in the event and sold Tatis for 450,000, so I got a big chunk of that back, then next event I’ll just get Tatis in the rewind pack.

Still catching up on old programs and haven't even started September Monthly haha. Just finished Clemente and going to finish August Monthly and then probably move on to September.

It's purely on me and my situation with time, but I've basically become offline exclusive the last 2 years because of time. I end up 2 or 3 programs behind and pretty much have to catch up to get certain cards, then by the time I'm caught up I'm 3 behind again. Leaves me almost no time to play online.

I guess at this point it doesn't even matter since all cards will be eligible soon enough. I think it's just the old style programmed into me. With the way collections were set up this year it almost didn't even benefit you grinding for them unless you could get them done super quick since they rotate out.

Dreading losing Acuna when the Milestone version inevitably drops in a Chase Pack. Was really hoping they'd put it out in a program or something but that hasn't been the way they've rolled this year. Then again they did it with Judge last year so it's not completely out of the question.

5-5 in this event, rough. Hard to win starting Jack Flaherty... Knocking out Soto program so I'm okay with losing but Flaherty sucks

Well, I am just marching to my own tune with DD at this point. If I really wanted to, I'm close enough to get all 3 Set 4 collection rewards without too much of a problem. But, I know I wouldn't use either Betts or Kluber, so why bother? I'll probably stumble into enough Set 4 cards to at least get the second pack (I'm like 7 away); will probably go for Betts at that point. The monthly program just looks bleh to me; just going to skip it entirely.

So...my goal right now...honestly, I just want to complete the Extreme program. I'm super intrigued to try out that Griffey as he should have a power tendency. To that end, I continue to chip away at the Extreme Conquest map. I've now progressed enough on Turn 1 (made it through Milwaukee without losing) that I should be able to play my remaining games (perhaps aside from the last one) on All Star (which is my nominal difficulty for Conquest). At this juncture, I should be able to run through the program without having to dig into the Showdown or Moments by just running through the conquest, missions, and a successful mini seasons run.

Truth be told, I'm enjoying DD more now than I had all year...just doing what I want without worrying about anything else.

I actually am in the opposite boat - finally completed every program except Extreme, including the S4 collection and TA collection, so I actually have a few days to play with a new “god squad.”

It’s rather liberating to not be grinding and just enjoy the outputs from this and previous collections. Mookie and Nolan Ryan both make my squad. Doing a classic MiniSeason since I have no interest in competitive play.

Toughest roster decisions were at 2B and 1B - rolling with Marte at 2B for Extreme PXP (just in case, someday…) and Signature Santana at 1B. The best squad for me by ratings is just way to RH otherwise, so at least I have 4 RHH and 5 Switch Hitters this way. Rutchman, Ramirez (3B), and Chipper (DH) are the other 3. The other RHH are Milestone Trout, Acuna in LF, and Jackie Robinson at SS. I should probably go Core Jeter at SS or move Ramirez/Chipper there for another masher instead, but I like Jackie’s lead off bunt cheese capabilities.

Since you're using your 'god squad' in classic miniseason, have you pondered just doing an Extreme Mini Season? You don't need to play on super-high difficulties, even merely winning the championship can get you program vouchers...you would be "grinding" without "grinding".

I only won like 50% of my event games to get to 9 wins yesterday. Was using monthly pitchers so whatever... They like to throw down the middle. Felt like pitch speeds were wayyyyy different each game too and I don't do cross play or whatever it's called.

Despite losing alot more than normal I unlocked a ton of monthly cards and got Soto so I went ahead and stacked a team for the August program and am like 95% to jrod too.

In doing so I got to the 2nd set collection pack and am over a million stubs. Got a mookie diamond that I sold for like 75k.

Even without playing good yesterday was a win cause I felt like I was making progress. I feel like for the past month grinding team affinity almost exclusively offline I wasn't really getting anything I want to use.

More for set 5 but I will use Foxx, Betts, and Soto... Likely won't use them this season but will be good to have for next season

Not super motivated for the br rewards so not sure if I'll drive into that. Assume we will get a stacked Yordan alvarez card for the division series which prob makes Soto obsolete before I even use him tho

Also hoping for a Trea turner that I can use next season

I have not pondered this, but that’s an interesting idea. I may do that after finishing my classic Miniseason, IDing the players that I apparently suck with (Kluber and Acuna) to replace them with players I do better with before tackling the Extreme Miniseason.
