Didn't have much time tonight but grinded out the Moments for this week's Topps Now.

Chipper is mine.

Spent 150k Stubs today on a bunch of the lower cost Set 1 cards to make it happen but got it done. Gives me a chance to start grinding his PXP because I'll be using this card all year. Stoked.

Collections wise, gonna pivot back to Live Series to work on McGwire and Jeter. Should be able to stockpile some Stubs now since I don't buy packs and really have no reason to spend since I got Chipper on lock.

Looks like no credit for over-earning Topps now again. So I need to be more careful when I get close to the end of this week, to not waste any stars.

Yeah, I've got the same issue. I didn't mean to earn more than I should have but I really didn't have much choice. I'm still learning the ins and outs of Diamond Dynasty but I was afraid to miss out on rewards cause I didn't know if it would disappear. I put in a support ticket about it but we'll see what they say.

Played a casual 9 inning back and forth game and my darvish got lit up pretty good. Back and forth but I lost 7-6. The other guy got 3 hrs out of the strike zone so that was a bummer. I was winning in the 9th but he scored 2 off my Rivera card.

I hit pretty good so decided to do a real ranked game and it was also 1 run difference but I won 5-4. Oddly enough I couldn't hit darvish to save my life. Guy was pitching the same way and I knew what was coming, felt like I was all over it but I was so early the whole game on sliders and cutters away. Felt like I was staying back but I wasn't. Super frustrating. I got homers from Jeter, chipper, and Trea in the 8th and 9th to pull ahead. Jeter and chipper back to back off nen.

I've cooled off a lot with pederson and he dropped a 10 ft popup at first base that literally bounced out of his glove so I gotta find a new 1st baseman I think.

Also, after these two back and forth games I think my pen could use some upgrades. I almost feel the pitching is more consistent in the event with loser Pitchers than ranked. On occasion the ball has just teleported in ranked but not in br or events. Like I setup a sinker low and inside and it just starts that direction then suddenly darts up to the top high and out of the zone.

as soon as i got home friday i did the topps now moments and was able to lock in for Chipper then i switched my focus to BR for Griffey and i got him on Saturday night and out of one of the packs i pulled live series Tatis so sold him for 30K and then sold Edmonds for 50 K and bought Diaz to finish the Mets adn the NL so now i have Griffey and Sammy and Chipper im happy so i think my next focus till friday will be trying to get 10 wins in the event to get those cards or Mini seasons to try and knock out TA before the new one starts next week .

Has anyone seen anything about if they will just add on TA like they did in years past or if itll be its own thing once the new one starts?

It'll almost certainly be a parallel program and not serial to the current one. Once we get into season 3, Set 1 will be mostly irrelevant (since you won't be able to lease Set 1 cards for your team in meaningful modes once we're into Season 3). It wouldn't make sense to require people to grind through it.

I think they said each season will have a TA program associated with it and the existing ones never expire. So even when they aren't in rotation, you'll be able to grind them for collections I assume.

am i weird for not keeping stubs for the AL collection? since i have the big 4 to get still with Trout Ohtani Judge and Degrom.. i think im going to spend my stubs on cards i want to use especially my Cardinals cards i havent been able to get yet like Waino and Walker.

Guys who are looking for something to do if everything else is completed. Prep for Team Affinity 2, play an MTO with a team from each division on Veteran (or whatever level you want). Go all the way up until July 1st and stop. Then once TA2 drops on May 12th 3pm set, play out a moment or two and get past the July 9th All Star Break and get a quick 10k to 14k XP. Nice jump start to go along with the Conquest Map, Moments, and Showdown. Once you get things going you can even go back, finish the season, win it all and get an additional 40k in XP.

Agreed. I’ll never finish any of the TA unless they persist when the next set come out.

Been short on time and was doing another USA map run to grind the Mexico City program. Actually pulled the Rare round in the Around the World 3 pack and took Realmuto. Considered selling but he's a lot better than Bench and I've never really used JT cards.

If I get around to grinding BR I'll still take Posada then most likely sell Realmuto toward Live Series. Concentrating on the AL East first as I finished the central last night. Then it'll take forever to finish the West I imagine.

i was looking around on showzone comparing different cards and i couldnt belive they had the Ozzie Smith card graded higher overall than the Lindor 99 so i bought him to try out since he fits on my Cards theme anyways but if i dont like him im thinking of buying Jordan Walker and trying him out just to see. i got 25 wins in the event and am working on the mexico conquest now before friday
