Weekend before a holiday, double xp weekend, roster update, new moonshot event and Topps now. It's pretty light as far as content goes... Which I'm happy about bc I can catch up a bit.

Its just weird bc these flash sales in past years I feel they would really help with collections cause I could scoop up all these dips and really boost my stub count or just get things cheap. Now I don't really want to dive all my stubs in not knowing whether I'll get enough cards to get the 3rd set 2 collection pack. So I've got mantle and Mauer and Stan and a few others instead of scooping up headliners, ws henchmen, program bosses etc

My thoughts exactly.

Looks like the Kyle 99 with C secondary drove down Mauer even more. Tempted, but I too see a market dive on Friday.

I bought Polanco for like 37k even tho I'm sure he'll drop soon but was so good with him last year wanted to use him in event

Where is he from? Duos pack?

Small sample but Polanco is still ridiculous... Batting 500 and most of those outs were smoked too

Don't think I've got a ball hit to me at 2nd in this event yet so not sure if the 75 fielding makes the god squad but he's just so much better than his attributes

Where is he from? Duos pack?

Pretty sure he was in the first Kaiju takeover packs. I remember pulling him when he was selling cheap, then sold him for around 40k.

well a little update i am 100% done with all the Team Affinity stuff . I am up to 55 points in the BR program and i have 22 wins in the new event . Ive been having fun using the future stars but im ready for some new stuff to really grind and i hope Set 3 really brings some great stuff with the All star stuff. i will be going on vacation saturday till tuesday and will only have my switch with me to grind some offline stuff but then ill be back and have all day wednesday and thursday to grind for things.

Couple of cards ive really liked lately is the Captain Tucker card he has been amazing along with the Velara and that new Carlson for free has been nuts.

I got David Wright with 2nd choice pack.

I use hank in practice mode against Pedro and I'm always making good contact but hitting it like a 100mph line drive to center. I guess that's the push hitter thing

I'm at like 253 cards if I include all the ones I haven't collected. I don't think Aaron makes my God squad or so I may just sell off everything I don't need and build the stub count for set 3

I got to 20 wins in the event and got 5 future stars maybe but might just hold off on that program and Topps now until set 3

I'm wondering if there will be a mega collection down the road where we need all set collection bosses but I doubt it.

My online hitting is so locked in right now without doing any of these veteran moments.

I was able to get kershaw, skubal, and buehler to help my rotation with all the set 1 guys leaving

also got yoshida for LF since trout will be leaving

also put an order in for hoffman since his attributes are so good but my pen is already pretty stacked. I'm usually bad with him but he was sell price 38k yesterday and 27k today

How does willie mays only have 84 clutch?!?

I feel like I made out pretty good considering I slept through most of it...i think i'm eating hank aaron and not going out of my way to earn him. Sitting at 67k stubs now but have plenty of things to sell off if need be

I got Polanco - who RAKES - Mauer and Walker as the flash sale was concluding.

This moonshot event is crazy. One dude put up 5 on me in the first, and I countered with 10, all in the first! You're never out of a game, and I'm enjoying trying cards like Chapman and Wright out a bit more while upping Sosa's BA. Already at 12 wins.

I need 7 more cards to get my last Season 2 collection (Hank), so I'll definitely get it with the next round of Topps/Lightening (even if they count towards Inning 3).

I haven't started BR so that may be next while we all wait for Season 3. We should be getting a godly Acuna and Ohtani (lightening and all star?) which will be fun. I hope we get some new legends too - if the Bo rumors for KC come true, I'm going to lose it.

Does anybody have a spread sheet with all the programs, and missions that we can check off? I feel like I’m all over the place. I’m working on June Topps, Mexico Series, April/May POTM and I’m starting to make a budge on Team Affinity. I need something to keep track of my chaos lol

I'm not that motivated to get hank but I could get him by finishing last 2 weeks of Topps now and future stars..

Alternatively, I was thinking of just selling all the set 2 cards I don't need or have locked in for the stubs.

I could finish topps/future at any time but gonna be a bummer if I sell off a bunch of stuff and we have a huge kaiju collection or something. What are others doing?

I think the good news is that we'll know probably by Friday. I'm a single card away from getting my third and final (Hank) and either a BR run or the Negro Leagues away from Seager. I'm just missing Babe, and by a good 30+ cards.

I'm going to wait, but I'm also a bit of a completionist.

One major disappointment this year for me has been the Event rewards. I'm sure they realized that people were trying to beat it quick last year and sell off for stubs. But hardly any of these guys are usable, and the no sell limitations upon replay really kill it. I'm a few wins away from Delgado and seeing him under 20K stubs is depressing.

On the Bo rumor, it's probably garbage. I saw a 'leaked' screenshot of Affinity 3 and he was the Royal. The rest looked legit, and there's 1 new legend confirmed. But why they'd wait on him ... seems like a 5% chance.

I'm a completionist by nature, so I'm not selling anybody off. However, SDS did announce (I read this in the app) that all set restrictions are lifted in Season 6. I'm guessing that means if there are going to be any mega-collections, that is when they would appear.

Worst case scenario, all those P5 WBC 99s and other Set 1 cards will be usable again, for those of you who play those modes.

Removed all my set 1 guys....

Rotation I may drop someone for framber and I also have Hoffman in the pen but don't know who to drop for him

I have Sosa for rf but bought Yoshida on the flash sale dip and wanna try him out. Also not loving soriano slow reaction in rf but Polanco is always my best hitter
