I'm def not spending 500k for zero quirk elly but he is pretty crazy...I'll use jeter all year at SS and I just got wright/soriano for 3b/2b

I'm still confused with how we use guys like martin dihago. I had him in BR as a SP but it wouldn't let me DH or use him in the field and it wouldn't let me pinch hit him. So how do we even use him or Shohei in ranked/BR?

I might not be able to play tonight but I've been chipping away at the Youtube video release.

kindve hating that I got lazy with the topps now...I didn't do weeks 3 or 4 and now we're on 5...I assumed we'd start a new month with the new program

So I think I'll do the monthly program since it doesn't look as tedious and I guess knock out all these topps now moments atleast to where I can do the exchange for the monthly.

Do as many monthly program moments as I can to get as many cards as I can and then just grind events until I get shohei

I'm also thinking about co-op and 250 innings to get one of the WS rewards. Is that like a miserably long grind? I've never really counted innings lol. I feel like BR may take me 5-7 hrs but I'm getting player pxp, extra hitting/pitching points, etc...and I can often get to 9 wins in a run at least once but I haven't gone flawless this year

Got ohtani, finished west conquest and played a ranked with ohtani

          9ip, 1 hit, 0 er, 22 k's

I'm 19-0 so gonna play one more and hope I can get 20 with skubal. I'm still using Roger's center and it works good in events and br but I squared so many up that didn't leave with that 300ft elevation so I may need another home park. I just can't find one I love this year

2nd game skubal was a little scary but didn't give up any runs... Won a 1-0 against randy. My 14 good contacts only netted me 3 hits 🙄

I need a new home park

I appreciate that they put the captain cards back at the start of the program for the MA grind. Helps with the tedium, at least for me.

Monthly wasn't too bad, it did take me 5 or 6 hrs. I feel like previous ones I couldn't do in one long sitting

They've streamlined everything. Got Ohtani real quick, Showdowns are breezy, and I'll be at roughly 55-60% for every Affinity division - grinding like crazy, but still, way faster. I finished the last Affinity as Season 2 concluded, and I just don't want to wait that long for Carroll and Ramirez.

The Ranked rewards are back to being great as well, so it's finally time to take the dive. Love Soto's swing, but that Satchel has the makings of a must-have ace. Curious who others are going to take.

I'll take Paige but I'll prob have to save my stubs unless I really get into coop... I don't wanna ruin my record trying to get the ws pack...

I did like the first Soto card but since I have chipper at dh I'd need the pitching more

I’ve heard his swing is kinda slow. I think that Max Clark might be the pick of those 99s. Pretty cool to get draft content. Season 3 is off to a really good start. I’m hoping to pick up Clark while prices are low since I like the Tigers. I’ve been buying up the mid and low round of that pack for just above quick sale, either for an investment or to fill out collections eventually.

I'm not entirely sure I want to even dive into Season 3 (I ironically started Season 3 of my "play every pitch/game" franchise last week, so I am invested there). But I am intrigued about the "streamlining"; what do you see that is different about the pacing of TA3?
Play the games you love, not the games you want to love.

Progress towards collections feels a bit easier and faster. The Showdowns are the easiest we’ve seen - runner on 3rd, 0-0, 12 outs to get him in, lol. Stuff like that which wouldn’t fly a season ago. Just one example but I feel like I’m off to a roaring start compared to other programs.

I generally don't struggle with showdowns, i won the first one on first try but I lose the east on the romano mission (without a hit) and I lose the central with the holland mission

Next run through I beat them both in like 3 hits. I think they were both score a run with 10 outs and on veteran.

It's like I breezed through and then bam they shut me down and romano seems like it was jumping on me.

This batch was pretty easy, but I skipped Holland. If it’s close to the end, I skip anyone with a funky delivery or situation where you only get 6 or 8 outs. I’ve blown too many of those.

I thought it was weird that they didn’t announce any of the BR rewards before the program started but it seems like 3 really solid cards. I think Thompson will be my pick but I want to try him out to see how his swing is. Rube’s pitch mix is crazy, and I don’t know what outlier screwball plays like, so I want to see what the community thinks of him before I make a choice.
