SDS lost me, the same old same grind for the same old same cards.. Finally had enough, I'm off to play some Franchise games for my fix.

I mean, I'm not sure really what they can do, maybe its just me finally having enough but seems like a lot of the creators have hit a wall as well.

Hey Gary Carter 99 looks sick, he will look great on my Mets theme team, oh wait can't use him because Gary Carter 95 Captain card has to be used for boosts. LOL.. See ya next year Ramone!

I was about to say the exact same thing about the new 97 Bob Gibson like he would be fun for the Cards theme team but o wait i cant use him because he is the pitching captain so there goes that ... I am going to grind because this is usually the only game i play and i love baseball but with the Cardinals sucking and that meaning we wont be getting alot of them in the new releases it kinda makes me want to buy madden for franchise alot earlier that i do normally.

i think they could do alot with the sets and seasons and captains but this attempt has failed because it is stale but i am looking forward to the Sosa/McGwire program but other than that im kinda checked out which makes me sad

I just couldn't find success with Adleys HRD card through like 25 moonshot games and I figured well if I can't find it here I won't with his 99. Although his 99 has way better vision and stats so I just didn't want to waste the pick on a card I wouldn't use but I don't even use Dihigo that much either now. Ooops. Only 12 cards from Adley at this point though for the 300/300

ShowZone is running an events beta if anyone is into that sort of thing. DM the guys at showzone or let me know and I'll relay to them that you're interested in playing and they'll get you set up since sign ups ended. Basically it's a tourney system through their site and they're testing it for future weekend league type things. only played 3 games but it's been a blast. you match up through the site and they're planning on rotating rules and whatnot once they're up and running fully.

right now it's an all sets event with no caps or knuckleballers at main st field.

After a few days I too unfortunately feel lackluster desire to grind this again for the fourth time for Betts or Foxx who won't replace elly, Adley, Jeter, etc.

I'll do it but it sucks that basically all the cards along the way are not even usable. Like I just got the postseason grandal card for what seems like a million years in a row

I'll finish br on Monday then not really sure... I'll just start the next br I guess... I don't want to stop playing like others but just not sure the grind really improves my God squad too much and there aren't any cards aside from trout that I must have.

I finished off the moonshot conquest tonight and was thinking I do not have much desire to do three big conquest maps with cards I don't want to use

well after a fun long weekend and getting time to play i believe im at about 70% of all TA did the showdowns (which was a cakewalk compared to ones of the past) did the conquests and started a mini seasons grind because i just dont care about the event rewards or ranked right now .. i am really needing a new catcher card for my Cardinals Theme team and a decent 2B other than live series Edman ... im still having fun but just wish the content was more consistent and just better rewards for the grind . i think im going to take Kluber with my first collection pack but that Mookie card is going to be insane

I've actually been enjoying "the grind" for Team Affinity the last two seasons. I like the boosted TA collection cards and the use of the Captain cards for those program cards. To be honest, I may just grind TA and not do much else in DD unless a super-cool Other Program comes out (though I plan on grinding just enough of Set 4 to get the Rickey Henderson - the collection reward pack cards are all underwhelming to me).

Heck, for TA4, I have only collected 30 of the cards thus far and have a squad of nearly all 99s (with the Captain boosts). No, they aren't the super-juiced 99s that you have to buy; but to me, they're more fun to use. The pitching, in particular, is pretty good with Henke's boost - Walter Johnson will be crazy good with his boost (and I think the same will hold true for some of the 97 OVR Snapshot pitchers). I'm less "Jazz'd" (pun intended) about the hitting; but even with that, I have still enjoyed several of the cards I've unlocked early.

I believe that Season 6 will allow folks to use all cards, so Set 4 cards should be usable not only for Seasons 4 and 5, but for the rest of the year - which is cool.

I finished the ta moments and did a couple exchanges since I had so many dupes but I'm still at like 5% across the board...seems so long. Wish the exchanges where better like in past years.

I'll take Britton in the new br program. Will prob prioritize either the monthly program or co-op ranked altho I don't even remember the ranked rewards now. I enjoy co-op but never really play bc to stay up to date with everything I gotta do the other modes.

This br rewards seem to be getting weaker and weaker. Few years back they were like definetly 3 God squad caliber cards... I doubt Gwynn or Mayer are making God squads.

Hoping we get another core collection too since I've been on top of all the br programs. I never really used seager but would be nice to make all the br grinds worthwhile.

Seems like trout is hovering around that 860k mark so will prob bite the bullet and buy him soon so I can get to work on the p5. He's always one of my favorite cards

Didn't put two and two together on their discord with your user name. I got all set up for the All-Star Event. Since there are no team restrictions I'm using my Mets theme team. I just want to kick back, use cards I want to, and have some fun. Hopefully their set up works and takes off for them.

The smaller TA exchanges are truly worthless.

I started this TA season by shooting for the largest exchanges to start with. I think I was able to get those on 3/6 of the divisions? The key for me was exchanging my FA dupes for Bronze/Silver/Gold packs. Since there are way more low FAs than Gold, the odds of getting dupes that work for TA exchanges go up as you move up the value ladder. So I do that before trying to complete any more of the TA exchanges. Makes me feel better about the pile of worthless FAs I get in most packs, at least…

Failed the East TA showdown twice, I really hate Felix Bautista. He got me both times. I just can’t time a 102-103 mph fastball on the PS4 + TV combo I play on. The boss (Ruth) being a SP means I didn’t feel up for skipping to being down 10 with 20 outs to win. Central and West showdowns were both fine, got them on the first try. Haven’t fallen in love with any of the TA cards yet, although I’m looking forward to the Rollins card.

i am at 74 Cards now in TA and having alot of fun in mini seasons with the new cards as i get them for now .. i think once i get this done i will take my favorite cards into ranked with the boost and just see how things go .. I got the 1st Boss pack so far and i took Machado even tho i really wanted to take Stanton or Ernie .. i think once the prices go down i will get all of them because they all look really good other thank Cliff Lee to me .. i am up to 89 in the Set 4 Collection and havent bought any cards at all ...

I'm really hoping Masyn Winn gets a topps now or something and maybe a Willson Contreras card and my offense for the Cards theme team will be set even tho the pitching will suck

I've wound-up going into back into the TA 1 Mini Seasons - I never came close to completing it and I want all of the Core cards there.

Right now, just running with an all-Core team so I am making progress for TA 1, 2, and 4 (3 is the only TA I completed). I'm actually having a lot of fun with it. Just settling into an "enjoyable grind" where I am playing stuff that is fun to me and ignoring the fluff programs (like Topps Now, Monthly, etc.).

I actually unlocked the Ketel Marte card for the extreme program last night (on the basis of 1 moment I completed and 4 of those repeatable 25000 PXP missions, lol). I'm going to use him mainly on a Jimmy Rollins "SS theme team" where Marte's contact ratings get a huge boost. I do eventually want to get that Griffey, I just don't know how far I'll get as I will get back into my franchise pretty soon and will eventually exclusively play that mode.

First day of BR on Tuesday was totally normal, won at about the same clip as I usually do. Yesterday I got rocked by better players. Today I haven’t had a single matchup against a non-toxic player. I think I’m going to finish the program and call it a year. Last game I was up 4-3 going to the top of the 3rd, guy gets a ton of lucky hits and it just starts to pile on. I think it was 12-4 when I went up to bat, but he exceeded his pause timer and got the loss. I don’t know who these weirdos are and why they can’t just play normal? He bunt cheesed, tried to get into run downs constantly, and was just generally a terrible person.
