For those that own both the PSP version and the PS3 version...how similar is the gameplay? I'm not talking about graphics, lighting or any of that stuff but just gameplay alone.

They seem pretty much the same, the psp's game play has always been solid in it's own right.

The PSP version of 09 is a thing of beauty, like many have said it pushes the PSP to the limits graphics wise. I have totally enjoyed it and the fact that you can take it anywhere is icing on the cake.

I started a thread in the online section for anyone interested in throwing their name in for online games. I know there are not a whole bunch of us but if we had a group of guys at least we knew who we were playing. Just a heads up.

Ugh I think I'm going to have to get a new router, because it just doesn't seem to be compatible with my belkin router, yet every other game works, any ideas? because I really wanna play online.

The Belkin router always seems to be a problem with the Show. I know some ps3 people who had problems. I think they had to dedicate specific IP addresses for the game.

I know that any minor leaguer that has had an at bat in the Major League can have their name/likeness in the game otherwise they can't be in the game. MLB 2k series includes many of the organizations other minor leaguers under fake names with the same initials. A minor leaguer named Bill Thomas might be named Bob Terry (BT) but otherwise the height, weight, age, handedness, and ratings all reflect the real minor leaguer.

What does the show do with top minor prospects on each team that haven't seen the majors yet? Are they included at all under fake names? Or is the minor league system (ie the inactive roster on the PSP) just full of entirely fake players (in addition to minor league guys who've been to the majors before).

Thanks for any info on this.
Anyone able to answer this? It's been a few days and noone has answered and I was still wondering. Thanks.

What camera angle do you PSP guys use?

I have been going back and forth between wide and catcher. Even though I have a harder time pushing up on the analog stick for higher pitches on wide because the camera pans down a little more over the batter.

I HATE the new RTTS baserunning controls. I have no idea what I'm doing on the basepaths.

I started off on HOF but went 3-24 so I started over on all-star and am doing much better. The PSP version is real solid for a PSP game. It'll hold me over until I get a ps3.

Does the PSP version have a CPU Comeback option like the PS3 version?

Not as if I would want it turned on, just wondering cause I didn't see it.
