Yea, last year was too easy on HOF. I'm playing on All Star too and I'm finishing up spring training now. I'm doin' real well, but not as good as I did in '08 on HOF, so that should give people an idea of the increased difficulty. I'm battin' .338 with 5 HRs and 14 RBIs. I have 8 more games left in spring training.

Re: PSP Version Impressions
One other thing I noticed is the balls seems to come off the bat with more power with guess pitch turned off. Seems to do it even on the pitches I guess right at.
I love playing with guess pitch turned off but I K alot on Legend. I lowered the Global Pitch Speed to 0 so I will see if that helps some.Comment

Re: PSP Version Impressions
I just got done playing a short season on AllStar with default sliders and also struck out a ton. Before moving down to Veteran, I will also first lower pitch speed all the way to see how that plays out. I think that is the one slider a lot of people over look and maybe should be the first one adjusted. One other thing I noticed is the balls seems to come off the bat with more power with guess pitch turned off. Re: PSP Version Impressions
I think I am going to do Legend, Guess pitch ON, and default sliders.
In a few games I played with guess pitch on I had some good and some bad offensive games (not too many runs in either one) but much less strikeout. At least I was putting the ball in play more.
It's just so hard to judge low balls in this game, and I even have trouble with judging speeds between fastballs and changeups. Plus on Legend the CPU offense is so strong you need every bit of help you can get.Comment

Re: PSP Version Impressions
This game is great and recommend it to anyone. That said, has anyone else had any issues trying to field balls hit into the corners, especially in the outfield? A couple of times I've had my outfielder unable to get the ball and basically had to keep press against the wall until the game decided to let me pick the ball up.Comment

Cool - I've never started a RTTS with a pitcher. This year it's tough. Hitting is a straight up bitch sometimes.M!keComment

Re: PSP Version Impressions
I don't know if anyone answered you yet, but yea, the noise is there when you guess the pitch correctly.Could someone with the PSP version please do me a favor?
Check to see if you get the "ping" sound effect when you guess correctly the type of pitch on the default guess pitch setting. I'm not getting any feedback, even when I guess correctly. Weird.
I know I've posted this before but haven't yet gotten any response....
Thanks,M!keComment

Can most be applied to Legend difficulty as well?
