I'm saying bash it for things that actually exist, not for things that happen in your mind. Comeback Code, whether you think it's there or not, does not exist or we would all be seeing it.

Maybe you just got the bad copy...

Wow I can't believe this thread has multiplied. But be that as it may and maybe because I'm coming off a yet another stunning defeat. I have seen strange things in the late innings. I have no reason to trash this game or anyone. I like the game a lot and as frustrating as this is right now I will continue to play. Last game Dodgers had a 2 run shutout going, only 5 k's and 2 hits by the Pods. My 2 runs were scored on jacks. Then the fateful 8th inning. . . 2 outs pitcher confidence high, plenty of gas left in the tank. A long fly ball hit deep to center, back, back to the track, Ethier sizes it up. Then drops it!!!! Next batter up. Towering homerun to center the inning ends with the pitcher striking out the batter on 3 pitches. Next inning, new pitcher. double down the leftfield line a rope! next a looping single to right runner holds on third. next batter single to right.
In the Bronx they used to call this 5 o'clock lightining.

I just lost a tough one. Red Sox at Yankees up 5-1 the whole game until the 7th. Lester is pitching a gem but his pitch count was up. Stupid me had Okie Dokie and Delcarmen warming up but I left them in cause I was so focused on getting some hits at the plate

. Okie Dokie and Delcarmen wore their arms out in the pen because of my beautiful managerial decision and I had to bring in Masterson in Lopez instead of Okie Dokie and he blew it so I brought in Masterson who didn't do all that much better and then I had to use Papelbon in the 7th with 2 outs!! So they tied it at 5 in the 7th and in the 8th I shut them down but couldn't score and in the 9th with 2 outs and nobody on A-rod hit a HR to left field off me. This was my own fault. Man I haven't won a game in the longest time it's so frusterating but this one I am COMPLETLEY to blame.

I've played 30 games are so and have not seen a trend in comeback AI. It does happen, but there are rallies in baseball, comebacks if you will. It makes you mad, but that is baseball, you can't win them all.

1. EnigmaNemesis is a troll. He completely bashed 2K9 in that forum at every opportunity. Now he's defending this game to the end of the world. He ignores facts. He's blinded by his love for this game.

2. This game has a cult-like following. If you mention one thing wrong with it, the leaches come out and slam you for it. They don't see the game for what it truly is, a fantastic game with a few small issues. They think it's always peaches and cream. Gotta deal with it.

3. This is the reason I can't stand OS during game releases. It's bombarded with trolls and fanboys. Gotta take what you hear from certain users with a grain of salt.

Amazing how no matter what anyone tries to do to push this back towards a more reasonable discussion, someone always has to rekindle the personal attacks.

I have noticed my last few games that when I score the computer will score the next inning. Could be because I've relaxed and started pitching differently I dont know. I dont believe theres a comeback code but just some interesting numbers.

You know, I was about to post my line of questioning again, but thought, what the hell is the point? I mean really?

It seems the majority of the people who have seen comeback ai are content to just bitch and moan about it, instead of trying to see if there is something that may be causing it.
