sounds like you need to pay attention to the pitchers stats and take him out when he gets tired they actually get tired faster than last year so its not surprising that happened you'll get it at some point just give it time

plus what fun is it to win every single game I'd rather have a challenge

Try wearing a red shirt when you play the game and see if something you've never seen happens. If enough people do this, you will only hear from the people this worked for.

OK so there is no possible way the the setting is reversed. I personally have played enough of both comeback on and off now to where I would say I don't see much of a difference besides like you stated variation. Im still confused at this point as to why the computer seems to become so powerful and executes near flawlessly when trailing in almost every single game. I keep telling myself I just stink but there are so many people that are witnessing the same thing it's become tough to convince myself that it's all me. Are the cpu's attributes raised when losing?

I don't see how his joke was disrespectful in any way. It was just that, a joke.

Drop to veteran. No shame in that. I play on veteran and dropped all mine and the cpu hitting sliders to zero. Great games. Just won a game last night 3 to 1 where I got out of 2 jams in the late innings to keep my win. No comeback code going on here.

                  Quite Brian.

This is another "comeback" thread that really needs closing, we have far too many already.

I wonder how many people are running out right now to buy a red shirt.

I just got 3! Got myself a deal too - 3 for $9.99. Thought that was pretty good.

I wore a red shirt during my last rtts game and went 2/3 at the plate. I'm going to keep this red shirt setting to on. LOL

The short answer is no, so something else is happening. It's worth noting this actually happens in real life - it's called relievers.

Fatigue affects pitcher control and movement very gradually, but it adds up if you keep a pitcher in too long. But even near the end of a pitcher's start he can make up for this by pitching more carefully around batters (on average, increasing walks instead of extra base hits). This is a general trend you'll only see over many games, in individual games anything can happen at any time.

That said, a tired Ace is on average much better than a fresh reliever. But at some point that starter is going to lose effectiveness (or complete the game), and a reliever is going to be better. Ideally, you replace the starter before he proves this point.

Excluding closers, collectively starters pitch much better over 6 innings than relievers do over 1. That's how much better they are overall.

Thank you very much for clearing that up for me. I think alot of it is that I played last years game so much and I got so used to if I was up 3-1 in the 7th that was pretty much going to be the final. Agree 100 percent with your real life comparison. There are alot of games these days where relievers come in and there ends up being no decisions for the starters because of all the lead changes. Hence the lack of 20 game winners these days. I guess it just surprises me the caliber of players that I seen on here that thought they were seeing something wrong the way I did. Anyway thanks again I guess Im just gonna have to give up on Legend and play HOF because Ive started 3 seasons on legend and backed out of all 3 when I fell ten games below 500.
