Re: MLB 2010 Signature Player Animations/Personal Routines Help

    Team: New York Yankees
    Players Name: Derek Jeter
Signature/Personal Routine: Jeter ranges to his far right on a ball hit to the far left of shortstop, backhands the ball, leaps in the air off of his left foot, transfers the ball to his right hand in midair and makes a strong, overhand throw to the 1st baseman for the out.

What game situation(s) and how often does the player(s) perform this routine? On sharply hit ground balls hit to the far left side of shortstop

    ---------

    Note:

The first and only videogame that I've seen even do this animation was the All Star Baseball series back on the PS2, and it actually looked really nice.

DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHERE THE MLB 2010 BATTING STANCE CHANGES FORUM IS AT?

This probably follows that forum more but the SCEA guy mentioned it and someone else asked but nobody replied to him.

anyway.....i think they should add a appearence thing where you can change how the player chokes up on the bat or not. I think it would be perfect if there was a number representation where "0" would be no change(default grip) and go to like 3 so +3 would be choking up on the bat a lot, and -3 would be half of his hand off the bat. I personally cant hit (real life) choking up but enjoy more success with my last two fingers off the bat. This differentiates a lot among players. I know adam laroche definately holds his hand a little off the bat. This gives you more bat to reach in the zone and it makes the bat seem longer which idk why but i like. i hate seeing someone choke up on the bat a lot. usually contact hitters do this. and i would love to make it so my rtts player has a "-3" grip and have his last two fingers off the bat.

its already been cut off cause the pre production changes date has passed or something but I added in having different bat grips to it so its definitely in the thread.

I just found this thread and haven't had the time to dig through every response-Anyway here's my question:Ryan Ludwick-Has anyone changed his stance? It looks pretty much spot on except for the animation after a pitch goes by without a hit. He doesn't look at the bat like he does in reality. It kinda bugs me because this is a "trademark" ritual he almost always goes through.
Troy Glaus' sig. does this. But the rest of the stance is way off- Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

There won't be a forum for batting stance changes/fixes RodCarew is heading that project up you should pm him if you want to help.

See you can tell after he hits one, his hands linger in the air for an extra second or two.

Then he holds the bat out towards the pitcher before he gets set. Kinda like what you guys already do with some player's practice swings. What game situation(s) and how often does the player(s) perform this routine? Every at bat between almost every pitch.

...and that is a very good way to break a foot.
