With how huge this thread is, I doubt this will get seen.

You still can not fire your Farm Director. It now shows you who he is, but cant fire him! I got to the offseason. My Farm Directors contract was expired. I went to hire a new one and it said I had to fire my current one first. I go and fire him even though he doesnt have a contract. It seems to work, it is now listed as empty. I go to hire a new one and get the same message, I go back to the view the coaches and there he is again. You can not get rid of him.

Did you hire a new one yet? It probably will show him as your Farm Director until you hire a new one.

What exactly were the baserunning and fielding issues? I have played 4 seasons of RTTS and am not sure I know what you are talking about.

The Sept. crash blows, but they gave us a fix for that, even without the patch.

Certainly haven't seen anything you have described that would keep me from purchasing the game. But to each their own I guess.

I play 2nd base on a d/p ball hit to 3rd when the 3rd baseman catch's the ball your man will stop dead in tracks till the ball is thrown to him. This normally happens when a left handed batter is up, cause the 2nd baseman plays a little to the left. The base running issues are relative to the camera if your on first and the ball is hit to right field your pushing right on the stick to go to 2nd when the camera swings around now right is back to 1st. By the time you push left to get to 2nd your thrown out at 2nd.

I haven't seen the first one. I have seen the second one once, and I just adjusted to it. But yes, baserunning setup in RTTS is one of my biggest complaints.

That being said, I don't see anything that would cause me to declare the game broken or unplayable. As I said however, to each their own.

I put this game on the shelf to let these patch problems get taken care of.......but I assumed this specific problem was taken care of with the first patch. Unbelievable. They are going to create another patch to fix the replays, but not address this? The whole franchise mode is broken due to this prolbem. The coach/training part of franchise is crap as it is, but the glitch was just the straw/camels back.

ALSO --- Fix the Ranger's helmets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..........I can't play with my favorite team because of those ugly helmets..........

Im having an awful time hitting post patch. I'd like to attribute this to me just sucking, but pre-patch I was doing alright. Pre-patch i was batting about .280ish as a team averaging about 1 HR a game (little less) and 3-4 runs a game, on average.

Since the patch, im batting .134 as a team, with 0 HR's and scoring less than 2 runs a game.

Any advice? On legend, default sliders for the most part. I dont wanna mess with sliders, but it just seems I'm in the toilet right now

Edit: Also, any word on the release of the mini-patch? Thought it was this week.

I was having a similar problem and just dropped down a level and things seem to have worked out. Even though I'm not homering like I was before, the average has climbed back up.

I was getting too many hits. I have since switched to Legend and put contact down to 3 for me and the AI and power down to 4. Plays great. Moved Fileder run speed to 2 and reactions to 8 and lowered pitcher consistancy to 4. All changes are for bot me and the AI. Prior to doing this, all my games were 12 to 18 hit games. Just too many.

so when is this patch coming. We heard last week that it would be this week and is friday almost noon and nothing.....frustrating to say the least....

yea that is all it will fix unfortunately but i want to make sure that it wont cause issues with current seasons. so i rather start when i apply the silly patch

First FIFTEEN games post-patch I hit 1 homerun in my Twins franchise. I started messing with the pitch speed slider, which had been at +4, and I moved it to -3, seemed like the ball was getting to the plate much faster. Last three games my hitting turned around and I'm back to +4 and hitting like I was pre-patch. Must have just been a bad slump.

What I don't get about this patch ithough, is why some people are not getting post game replays or the flashback, and other people, including myself, never lost them.

Really surprised no word on the patch. I know we only had an ETA (emphasis on the ESTIMATED portion), but thought this week would be it.....

Thats cool, we've discovered that if you don't X through the HR flashback, you get post game high lites. We'd all rather have you test this thing and make sure only the intended results occur. Take your time.
