re: Put your "wishlist" things HERE (even though it's late in the game)
How bout in the "create player" screen allowing us to designate players as rookies or veterans. Because when i started my season w/ the so called up to date rosters that SCEA released, certain vets were missing (i.e. 37 year old paul bako) and now that i created him he is recognized w/ the little green "R" next to his name making him a rookie since i created him, which is totally hilariousComment

Re: A Few Ideas for the Dev Team
3 & 4 are in the game. You can go to any team and edit the fictitious players on that team to make them real minor leaguers. Just go to the manage roster screen, then hit R1 or L1 to switch to the team you want, select the player and select edit player and then you can change any of the fictitious names and attributes to real minor leaguers or whoever.
#4 You can do you just have to select roster control on at the beginning of your season/franchise. The down side is it turns off injuries.Comment

Career Stats!
Instead of just having 4 different career stats available on the Player Card, I want another separate screen with career stats for things like Doubles, Triples, Stolen Bases, Runs, etc...Comment

Improving on perfection? Really?? "Perfection" is a lofty title to bestow on anything, or any game. The Show is "not" perfection. Its a fairly nice effort but it does fall short. Next year I am hoping for some changes for the better.Comment

Let's keep this on track. It's understood how you feel about the game. We're not going to turn this into a debate about how the OP feels based on the title of the thread. Let's leave it at that.
I'm leaving this open even though the wish list thing is closed because a lot of late comers are now posting. The game is in full production and most of these posts are moot. This thread isn't going to so south.Last edited by jim416; 08-26-2009, 11:00 AM.Comment

Re: MLB 10 The Show Wishlist
ok for the umteenth year here we go again. im glad to see some of my thnigs from my list being put in year in and year out. one thing i saw in 09 that i LOVED in 08 that is missing this year is the catcher throwing the ball back to the pitcher after each pitch. that saddens me cause in my opinion it takes away from the over all realism. so here we go my annual list of things that need to be added to next years game...
1. indiv. batter vs pitcher stats
2. indiv. pithcher vs. batter stats
3. team vs team stats
4. tracking hiting streaks and milestones
5. rain and rain delays that not only cause delays but cancelations of games during games that may have to be rescheduled as a double header at a later date.
6. home run derby as part of the all-star break, as well as the futures game
7. team stats at each indivual stadium throughout a season
8. hitter and pitcher stats at each stadium. how they fair home and away from home.
9. hitter and pitcher stats for day and night games. see how each fair in each of them.
10. team vs team interleague stats. included in this should be team by team interleague stats as far as who has/had best over all reacord for that seson and in franchise through out further seasons.
11. again please PLEASE P-L-E-A-S-E put in full on real life box scores which include, time of game, game temp, pitches to strike ratio, lob stats, all of it ALL OF IT A-L-L OF IT!!!
12. a cut in on final innings of no hitters/perfect games.
13. cut in on games that have players going for a milestone moment (i.e. home run, hit, sb, strike out, etc. etc.0
14. post game show with highlights from all games
15. expand on newspaper to include articles for all teams on the major league level.
16. allow users to place players in minor leagues after an injury for rehab assingments.
well that is all i can think of for now. the list keeps getting shorter and shorter each year lol. i keep forgetting what is on my list every year lol.Last edited by mlblover15; 08-26-2009, 08:27 PM."Baseball is life, without Baseball life itself ceases to exist." - Ken SpragueComment

Re: MLB 10 The Show Wishlist
Another reminder. This thread was started way back in MARCH. During that time a "wish list" forum was started with most of the conversaton going on here.....
MLB Feedback Forum http://www.operationsports.com/forum...eedback-forum/
I let this stay open because of new posters wanting to get their "wishes" in, even though it's basically too late with the game already in full production based off the wealth of ideas presented in the abovementioned forum.
I'll let this stay open awhile longer, but it's really a pointless thread at this time as it's, well, too late.
Just about everything has been covered and this is all just a rehash of the above forum.Comment

Re: MLB 10 The Show Wishlist
Speaking of which, this is something they can still probably address (unless it's already addressed or it has been in the game, I'm not sure).
If a player is hurt or fatigued but you keep him on the 25-man roster for a few days (without making an appearance) before deciding to place him on the DL, that it works retroactively in that every day your player hadn't made an appearance works toward your 15/60 days. So if you sat for 4 games and was put on the DL, you'd only be on there for 11 days.
I noticed this when the Giants put Freddy Sanchez on the DL yesterday, that since he hadn't played in the last seven days he will only be there for eight days.
They can probably get this to happen, though we probably don't face this situation much at all.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

It would be cool if you could add where you can create teams, uniforms, and stadiums. that would be tight.Comment
