Something that is very pickey but it bothered the crap out of me is the manager faces. I hate it when the manager's come out to pull the pitcher and he looks like a baby face 18 year old with dreads. It just sticks out so much because the rest of the game looks so good.

More hairstyles. All created players look like the same generic white dude. If I want a Jayson Werth mullet, let me have one!

I'd also like to see some more analytical commentary that is actually worthwhile and not that repetitive silly crap that is so overly general and obvious that its actually insulting.....You know what Im talking about. "Well the keys for the Dodgers to be successful in this World Series is how well these rookies can handle the post season pressure"

Uhmm hello, ... no $hit sherlock now tell us something we dont know

Could you give us a little something more specific like, "The key to this series is going to be Manny Ramirez and Jim Thome, combined they have a total of 10 HRs and 32 RBIs coming into this series.....yada yada.

The key to success for the Red Sox will be the performance of Josh Beckett who has been unhittable with an opponent BA of just .210 and an ERA of 1.12 in 4 appearances. He's 3-0 in the post season....yada yada

Post Season pre game commentary like THAT would be much more realistic and enjoyable.

Also give us some graphical overlays on the screen during and before the games that give a tale of the tape breakdown of the 2 teams playing that gives a comparison graphic of how each team is performing in the post season in some of the key areas like BA, HRs, RBIs, Pitching ERA, SBs, SA, Runs Scored, ect

and sprinkle some more post season performance factoids pop up overlays that pertain to a certain player when he's at bat and its relevant.....Like Chase Utley has 5Hrs in this post season or have the announcer mention that David Wright is going thru a post season draught with just 1 hit in 26 plate appearances...ect

Stuff like that would make the post season games of commentary & presentation so much more immersive and realistic

here are some things i would like to see. my bad if it has been already said.

          - get rid of the transportation thing in finance. i think it is already a given that teams ride airplanes to other cities and buses from hotels to ballparks. it annoys me cause if you go for the bus, your players' fatigue will take a big toll. and if you go for the jet, it'll make me take out a loan which i don't want to.

          - make progressive fatigue constant. like i said, teams ride airplanes. make players tire more on the road and less at home.

          - variation in batting swings. everyone has different stances but the same swings in the game. i would like to see more variations between those. oh, and different animations too for when a better leaves the box.

          - more depth in franchise mode. more minor leagues and maybe real minor league parks.

-maybe have a screen dedicated to your 40-man roster. i am tired of counting my own. haha. maybe a screen showing your top prospects may do as well.

that's it for now i guess.

Guess pitch 1/6 (the version on rookie) on all difficulty levels.

We need a type of "injury history" that sort of mimics HC 09. I would love to see pitchers lose velocity because of reoccuring shoulder problems, players visiting the DL too often, etc. We need to start having injury prone players.

I would love to see something like this implemented.
I've been asking for a separate injury and durability slider for a couple of years.
Injury= 0....never gets injured(1 in 1000 chance)he takes a 100 MPH fastball of the noggin' and just smiles at the meat on mound
Injury=99....this guy gets hurt WATCHING a game!

Durability=0 ...1 game and this guy needs a hospital bed to recover
Durability=99.....this guy is breaking Cal Ripkens record without breaking a sweat

....and I love the diminished ability idea.
Depending on the area of the injury.....it will effect play.
If my fastest runner has an injured shoulder that will effect his batting and fielding to 60%...I want his running to remain at near 100%...so if his injury is 5 days..I can keep him on the bench and still use him for pinch running.
Same goes for injuries to legs......to be able to use him as a pinch hitter(and then pinch run for him)

                  Fantastic ideas.

I love the idea of a guy who could run pretty well when he was 30, having persistent knee problems and ending up as permanent DH material like Matsui or Sheffield.

Also, pitchers who have been injured should have a big chance of control problems and lower velocity in their first game or two back. This would make it beneficial to give them a rehab start in AA or AAA.

If they are implemementing weather (which seems likely), then I'd like to see greater chances of injury in damp and wet conditions.

Also on rain, sliding should theoretically be more effective, is that true?

It'd be great if they could cut to a shot of a pitcher warming up and the announcers would have specific lines about the pitcher in question. I'd like similar treatment to be given to the on-deck batter, and commentary relating to the situation, differing when a contact hitter is up, and when Chase Utley or A-Rod is in the circle.

                      MLB The Show atmosphere ideas!

I really think Sony needs to visit each teams ball park and record all the sounds from each park. This way MLB The Show could get much more accurate for every teams ball park.

For example lots of ball parks play different kinds of organ music.

When playing MLB The Show I realy want it to not only look like I really am at the Phillies ball park but also sound like it.

In MLB 09 The Show every ball park sounds pretty much the same too me.

I really think this could be improved big time from what it is now in MLB 09 The Show.

Each teams ball park needs to have its own unique atmosphere.

You know......driving in to work...I have to go through the Bronx and Manhattan....and I was thinking of the ticker tape parade and the Yankees getting the keys to the city.

You know what might be cool....
If SCEA put in some sort of achievement that gets unlocked that involves some sort of special celebration presentation. It would have to be something really good...because it would only be unlocked through playing every inning of every game in your franchise and winning the World Series.....on H.O.F or LEGEND.
(this would lock me out of getting it!)
