just played it at my best buy and all i can say is wow..i've played 2k until i decided to get a ps3 this year and cannot absolutely wait to get this game..only thing though is i played with atlanta and my buddy was the mets..we were playing in new york and i wore the blue jerseys..only problem was the hat I wore was the one Atlanta wears with their sunday red unis..anybody know if you can change hats or no?

SCEA goes by the official MLB Style Guide which seems to be as accurate as the weatherman.

You can field and hit with different cams, so when pitching, I used the traditional medium cam. It seems like they have zoomed in that camera a little bit, which made a big difference, but it seemed like it was harder to catch the ball. I was standing in the circle with nick swisher, but he pulled a 2k9...twice in a row. So the Phillies had back-to-back triples to start the game.

Does that mean you can set it to Medium when you are fielding but Broadcast when the cpu is fielding? That would be great. Just trying to make sure that's what you mean.

And I still don't fully understand the pitch delay option (and I have read all the info I can). I'll have to check that out myself.

Payroll was never unlimited unless you played with budgets OFF.

...and I've posted it quite a number of times now....with 30 team control.....you will be able to "slim down" payroll AND get accurate contracts if you "get creative"......and still give control back to the teams you want when you're done.

Thanks Knight, I missed that post of yours. That's good news

Unlimited might not have been the right word but I had $150 million to work with last year, that's unlimited to me. I could basically do whatever I wanted and not worry about contracts.

Disappointing to hear they didn't fix this, I don't think you can change hats, only uniforms.

That's exactly what I mean!

It would have been hard to field with broadcast cam, especially since I have the traditional way perfected. Plus, I like to see the ball come off the bat for a second, and it wont let you do that if you choose broadcast cam.

As you can see in the photo you can adjust it for batting and fielding.

I CAN'T see it in the photo. Photobucket, youtube and most storage photo or video websites are blocked at work. I just get a whole lot of nothing.

It would have been hard to field with broadcast cam, especially since I have the traditional way perfected. Plus, I like to see the ball come off the bat for a second, and it wont let you do that if you choose broadcast cam.

I'm trying to be a bit coy here(for SCEA )...but when you get the game...you'll fiddle around...and see that you'll be able to work around the finances and salaries a bit.
You can't just manually change them....(by just editing them)...but if you do get creative....you can give yourself and other teams quite a challenge!
