yea i had trouble with hughsie in my yankee game as well.

i might use hughes in the starting five instead of Joba

Played it @ BB too!

Feels like a even better game then 09. Any worries can be left 10's the one!

Two things I noticed immediately...Player models ARE improved and stadium presentation is fantastic

Pitching was more rewarding and hitting was almost spot on...

but what really got me were the ball physics and the players reaction to the ball pretty spot on ...

Almost tempted to say it's the best baseball game i've ever played all over again...

Ok I played for about a hour or so and tried a few different things, including some simming on Franchise, so here's my thoughts:

New RTP is nice, really like the camera angle

Hit variety greatly improved, I hit bloops, groundballs that sneaked through, balls that got trapped down in the corner, probably the biggest improvement, different foul balls as well

Player models/shadowing better, espeically the pitcher/catcher

Crowd more responsive (Braves fans I listened for the chop and got it once in a rally)

Fielding felt better, hard to describe, but a lot of times I would queue up a throw before I reach the ball, and it would just suck into the anim., now if you do that you miss the ball

Ball/fielder physics felt better

Far as franchise, it's mostly the same, the new e-mail feature helps, but it's basically the same as '09. I did sim thru a season, and teams reacted really well at the trade deadline, teams on a playoff push were trading propects for key pieces, and teams out of the hunt were trading stars (Adrian Gonzalez, Octovio Dotel) both got traded. So that is much better.

The bad side on franchise is that I still had a small fortune as the Braves in the offseason, I didn't quite of time to play thru all of the offseason, but I definitely had too much money. I'm hoping we can get this worked out with new rosters.

That's it, Braves fans.......Hanson has a new delivery, but it's almost pointless to play the game without Heyward. Oh and there's one new jersey choice, unfortunately not the baby blues.

Oh one more thing, Knight or someone from the community day can answer this, there's a link to "The Show Shop" in Franchise that obviously links to some sort of online store for downloads, have I missed a mention of this or is this something new?

Another thing I noticed: they tweaked the batting cam. MUCH easier for me to read pitches now

Me too, when I was serving up homer after homer with Franchise Phil all I could think is how good the developers got his wind up

Got a quick glimpse of the game. Got to BB at 8:55 and they close at 9. I felt like I was at one of those stipper windows that you need .25 to look at. Just a tease...

Can someone please confirm that the rangers don't have the two toned helmets this year? That last comment has me worried. I hope they have 2 different helmets to chose from, Red and Blue!

LOL...Seriously...I was there right and the controllers didn't work. i literally walked up to one of the workers and annoyed them the way they've annoyed me over the years asking "if i've found everything alright". Got them to fix it but still had to use the car key to hit the start button...What i played though? Absolutely crazy...they even fixed the horrible flags that they've had for the past 3 years in next gen.

Same here. I play as the Angels and don't want to be seeing those hideous things over and over.

Weird. I played at home with their home red jerseys. They worse the all red helmets, which I was like "Right on!" But, when I used their home white jerseys they worse red helmets which was really disappointing since it's odd to look at. Holding out hope, I tried an away game with their blue jerseys and those hideous two tone helmets made an appearance.

Ugh, I guess I wont be using blue Jersey's. Away and Blue Jersey's should be Blue Helmets. I can deal with red ones at home at least.
