Re: Trades you plan on making in 'chise

Consider Michael Bourn from Houston...I play as the Astros and I would like to get a middle infielder. Not sure who though...And some bullpen help
    Da Hoppa?

Jennings would fit the bill....but TB would more likely be inclined to move Upton than Jennings IMO.
Call me crazy but a good fit for you would be Juan Pierre.
Good speed...durable and you could probably get him for less than either Upton or Jennings.

Now...in my Met franchise, I just happen to have a CF'er I'll be moving straight away. Carlos Beltran? He'd look good with the tomahawk on his chest!

Id consider a new ss at short for the Redsox...but usually I play with actual rosters.

Upton is the one I was talking about. I mention Jennings b/c he gives TB a reason to trade Upton. Bourne is also a good option, my only apprehension is that ATL's lineup is already heavily left-handed, which is the same w/ Pierre. I actually started looking at Pierre, but w/ Beckham at 2b, CWS probably wouldn't be interested...i guess Prado could play 3b as well...

I'll be looking at a third baseman (dunno how good Morel and Teahen will be in the game) and a closer. I wonder how they'll deal with the Peavy injury in this game.

I like playing with my Reds with the actual rosters, but if I had to make one, I'd get a better SS and maybe a little pop off the bench.
And this one belongs to the Reds!

if i do a chise with PHI ill try to move blanton, ibanez, and shake up the bullpen a little. If i do a chise with the braves ill most likely try to move derek lowe, prob mclouth and shake up that bullpen as well. Whenever i think about doing a chise with a actual team i always try to dump overpaided or near players about to retire and being overpayed cause theres not point in keeping someone whos gonna retire after 1-2 seasons while being overpayed.

I won't really be looking to make any moves perse, but come the all-star break and since I figure I will be out of it with the Orioles, I will shop the 33 year old Brian Roberts around, and possibly a pitcher looking to get better for the next season.

How does the rumor mill work? I'm doing 30-team controlled franchise and have a few players on the trading block (like Seattle and Hernandez, Yankees with Posada, etc). Does it not work for 30-team control, if anyone knows?
