Did anyone notice if they added more records to break other than the ones they have had for the past few years such as homers in consecutive games, most RBI's in a game, etc.?est 1978

I was concerned, but then Enigma mentioned how that picture was far from finished, so just be patient!Comment

The players uploaded to the Player Vault will be generated so yes, I'm sure once you DL one you can edit any part of them. Knight talked about how different people could be in charge of editing different things, which obviously wouldn't be possible if you couldn't edit them once you DL them.
As long as you can edit PV players' faces, I'm good."60% of the time, it works every time."Comment

Re: MLB 11 The Show Community Day Discussion Thread - Questions, Answers etc.
That was an awesome and detailed write-up about RTTS, aukevin. Thanks!
One question I had about the camera angle with regards to running: would it be possible for the camera to simply pull back to show the user more of the field if the ball is hit into the outfield? That way, while running from first to third, for example, the user would be able to see the base coach in the foreground, and the runner in the background, while still getting a sense for where the ball was in the outfield.
There are likely a few issues with this I'm not thinking of, but it was something that occurred to me. Thanks again for the write-up!Comment

Hey Chris.. If your still fixing stances Andre Ethier's has been totally incorrect for the last 3 years
It should look like these

http://www.flickr.com/photos/2702939...n/photostream/
Not like this.... http://a.yfrog.com/img640/5843/q5za.jpg
As you can see in the real pictures his legs are spread farther apart but notice his knees are bent but his legs still almost totally line up together especially when you see his stance on TV. Also his upper body should be fully upright and his left and right shoulder should line up together (You shouldn't be able to see the first 3 or 4 letters on the front of his jersey)
With his upper body turned inward at the waist it effects his back arm positioning and totally throws off the correct way he holds the bat (His left arm should be fully extended out like his right arm which will correct his hand positioning on the bat)
I really hope you read this and can try to correct it because it took me a long time to explain it correctlyLast edited by DodgerFanatic2K3; 01-17-2011, 06:59 PM.Comment

I'm sorry but once you go to even one game at Wrigley (I've been ten) you get attached. I just haven't seen any game really get close to replicating Wrigley. The show is the best baseball game I have ever played, but Wrigley is always lacking. I never get the impression the game is actually reality (like I do in other stadiums) when I play the majority of my games there. It's hard to believe they will change anything when the game is in crunch time.Comment

Unfortunately guys, I was not able to gather any pics at all really. Some were last minute pics I asked for from some of the CD guys. (which was the Kauffman scoreboard and hotel/zenith from Camden)
I could not even get any Red Sox or Yankees pics at all. We had one less dev tool, and I was trying to let everyone who was better suited and used to writing their stellar write-ups dive into the game to test and soak up as much as they could. I was so busy with fielding requests from everyone, that unfortunately I ran out of time to try to take any pics for myself.
A ton of running around the studio trying to get all the "little things" fixed and added for the uniforms and stadiums at everyone's request. It was 15-18 hours a day of "work". And I commend those guys for staring at the screens for so long. But with the game as gorgeous as it is, it is well worth it.
I did spend half the first day in RTTS which ROCKS now, and was grateful that I got a couple games of coop in on the last day.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment
