Not sure if anyone asked this question yet... Are there any new vids with the commentary in it?

Re: MLB 11 The Show Community Day Discussion Thread - Questions, Answers etc.
Does anyone know if '11 will display in true 1080p? I believe in '10, when 1080p only was the only choice checked on the XMB, it displayed in something less than 720p, like 540p or something like that.
Thanks.Comment

Another question I just thought of. Are there any new Hall of Famers listed? I think Tony Gwynn was the last one on the list for The Show 10Comment

Small thing, but in the post game do left handers still awkwardly highfive everyone with their glove still on, or do they take them off and highfive with their hands like everyone else?Comment

I think the commentary in this game is very good. Obviously, creating different comments and analysis for 162 games in near impossible unless you have unlimited resources and cash.
On that note, I'll share one of my favorite commentary flubs in the game. I'm a huge sim guy, so sometimes I'll get like 15-20 seasons done with my Tigers. Anyway, when Miguel Cabrera comes to the plate, the commentators say "in steps the young Miguel Cabrera". So when he's like 42 years old, they still say it. Kind of funny after awhile.Comment

Were players like Aroldis Chapman added into the game?

Re: MLB 11 The Show Community Day Discussion Thread - Questions, Answers etc.
I am looking forward to getting MLB 11 The Show on March 8th from Amazon.com. No only just because of updated graphics , stadiums , player models etc. but also I am looking forward to trying out the new analog controls in the game as well as move support in home run derby , road to the show , and so much more. And also 30 days free of MLB.TV you can't be that. Great job SCEA and to everyone who has worked on the game and I predict it will be the best version of MLB The Show ever.Comment

Re: MLB 11 The Show Community Day Discussion Thread - Questions, Answers etc.
I know that fielding errors will now be completely user based with the new analog controls. Will fielder ratings have any influence at all on throws now? If your fielder has a higher rating will you have an increased window to be offline when moving the right stick? I hope so because someone like Encarnacion should have a much smaller margin for being off then say a guy like David Wright. Also, will trying to throw the ball faster decrease your accuracy window?Last edited by harvey88; 02-09-2011, 08:50 PM.Comment

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Yes....player ratings are the base.
What he meant was...no more "roll of the dice" errors.
There is a larger window for error with a 40 rated fielder as opposed to a 90 rated fielder.
Also...a 40 rated fielder will have a MINIMAL chance at making and "elite" play(the 90 rated player has a larger access to those plays)...when fielding also.
