But that's exactly what they fixed. The main problem was the squared-off shoulders, which made the arms look short. That has now been fixed as the shoulders are rounded and the arms hang as they should. The entire skeletal body was redone and they look fantastic. Not sure what you're looking for...maybe something that doesn't resemble a human body?

Is anyone aware of any correlation between attention paid to base runners and getting a pitch to hit?

As we all know, in real baseball, when a pitcher is distracted and hung up on a base runner who keeps taking tempting lead-offs, they're usually more likely to focus less on the batter and serve up a hittable pitch.

I've never noticed it having any kind of observable effect in the game, though. Anyone know if it's something SCEA's talked about before?

You mean some type of distraction factor? It would be nice if that was figured into the mix. That whole pitcher interaction of pickoffs, runners leading and getting back to the bag type logic needs some work. Maybe it could get factored in. Little by little more position specific attribute ratings are getting looked at.

Robbing a home run... at Wrigley?

I play as the Cubs and have seen outfielders, on numerous occasions go through their rob home run animation on home runs. However, they have never been successful which is a good thing because it's impossible to bring a home run back in Wrigley. Has anyone seen a player rob a home run at Wrigley in MLB 10? I'm hoping that they made it so the animation is not possible at the friendly confines in MLB 11.

Is Shea Stadium available as one of the classic stadiums in MLB 11? I'm sorry if this has been answered elsewhere but my search didn't turn up a definitive answer. Thank you.

              Yes.
I play every home game of my 2000 series at Shea.
They will still have it in for '11.
              They don't remove older options.
This one is available for everyone all the time.(meaning not part of the Classic Park pack you either got with the pre-order last year or by buying them)

Have some of these things been fixed up:

Audience members falling out of their seats and onto the field when trying to get a foul ball(if this were real life, we might have seen like 2-3 ppl kicked out per game lol)

Balls going through the audience members who reach over the wall to get the ball(I'd be mad if I tried to get a foul ball and the ball went through me lol)

Lengthy foul ball plays in which you can't press X to skip it(ex-the ball going to 200 or 300 level behind 1st base and you're forced to watch the entire time, not able to skip)

Has progressive field in cleveland been updated this year? Has the championship banners been moved from the left field wall to the right field upper deck area in the 2nd deck and will the batter eye bar in right center field above the indians bullpen been added in this year’s game? And if not will the batter's eye bar be added to next year' game?

                      Not sure....it's probably still there.

                      They don't catch them.

They still have to time out....(the animation)

Wish I had the answer for you though.

                          I figured Enigma might...but I haven't seen him....guess he's busy with real life stuff.

                            Hey Knight

saw a post a few pages back where you said there are no new options for creating/editing players

i find this a bit hard to believe because for the past couple of years there have been at least some minor tweaks here and there (sunglasses, baggy pants, etc)

but are you saying it is EXACTLY the same as 10, or just no major changes???

Do they at least stop the ball? Like if its a foul ball and someone reaches for the ball, will the ball hit the person at least?

Will there be dynamic overlays in franchise? Ex- Guy comes up to bat, will it say he is "2nd in the NL" under his totals?

I know they run the scroll up top once every few innings, but this is already included in Exhibition.
