Don't take it from the worst BB game player ever(hence my penchant for manage only mode...but don't tell anyone)...but now more than ever, I believe you must preload your throws.

      you're right!

in 10, you could press a button while your fielder was scooping up the ball, you have to do it much earlier with the analog stick

i just wasnt doing it early enough

Wow. So, every batter has their own unique time to start their stride. Looks like I will be spending alot of time in the cages!!!

Indeed. Analog controls are legit in this game. Especially the hitting and pitching. Hitting where you have to learn each hitter's stride sets this hitting mechanic above the rest. Even if I prefer true pci/guess pitch no feedback!

I'll be going back and forth between them all, I think. The only thing I don't like about the analog pitching is that meter. It makes it hard to enjoy the BEAUTIFUL new player models. I might play on classic just to focus on the new arm actions of the pitchers, they look great.

They worked hard and LATE on those.....especially tough with the new models in and the ani's to match up to.

Yeah, I was just tweeting w/ Steve_OS about this - it's pretty distracting trying to pitch in broadcast mode, looks like pixelated junk back there...

They look amazing. The elbow actually bends like it should, it feels I'm really pitching, this little detail has totally made this game a must buy.

Now let me hide the meter for analog haha. I want analog-classic!!!

Really we are complaining about the crowd now. It is a video game. I know you want it perfect, but I rather have the players look great than the crowd looking great and having the player models look bad instead.

You can shrink the meter down to a dot and move it to the corner of the screen. And then just go on feel.

Thank u so much for bringing this to the forfront. Not a whole lot bothers me about The Show or this demo, but this is super annoying! Especially for those of us that enjoy pitching or even hitting from the broadcast camera. Most stadiums have a full screen behind homplate, so u can't make out the burriness of the fans so much, but last year when the backstop screen would disappear from time to time during a game u would see the blurry fans. I really hoped that SCEA would have fixed it for this year, but I guess not. And yes, it's especially distracting/annoying at AT&T Park cuz of the gap in the backstop screen. For some reason when u go into the replay everything looks fantastic! No more blurriness or anything. Not sure why this is, but I can only hope that it gets fixed pre or post release, possibly with a patch. Not sure why the devs would just leave that there without thinking that we might miss this issue. But thanks again for bringing this up. Later

P.S. Curious what Steve's thoughts were?

I just tested all of the cameras in the demo (minus the custom ones that take a 2nd controller to enable), and it's ONLY the broadcast camera that does this... Every other one is fine! I'm currently pitching on "Pitcher" and it's perfect. If you could zoom out of "Pitcher Full" it'd be damn near perfect.
