Re: MLB 11 The Show Demo Q&A, discussion thread
Try hitting a 90+mph fastball and you will see! Its partially the wind, but mainly the physics of real baseball when you get jammed, just get a piece of it, etc.Originally posted by banned memberMy [RTTS] goals are to improve my bunting and drag bunting. You stupid !@#$, I'm almost leading the league in bombs; !@#$ you!Comment

Re: MLB 11 The Show Demo Q&A, discussion thread
not really getting jammed it's like 90% of them. It looks like the wind is taking it for sure that's what I'm saying, just looks wierd every single time.Comment

The wind during all the games I've played has always been 18mph and blowing to the left. Probably what you're seeing is the wind affect the ball (flyballs mainly) as well as the spin on the ball off the bat.

Re: MLB 11 The Show Demo Q&A, discussion thread
The only major issue with this is didn't SCEA put in every single teams broadcast camera to choose from in the settings? It'll be a real bummer if that's what the crowd looks like in every teams broadcast view. I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope that the demo was a very early build and that it'll be fixed before launch, or at least via a patch if not for launch. I use broadcast camera for both ptching and fielding. I know that I'm in the lower percentile, but I really enjoy the whole game as if u/I were watching it as a live game on your/my t.v.. LaterI just tested all of the cameras in the demo (minus the custom ones that take a 2nd controller to enable), and it's ONLY the broadcast camera that does this... Every other one is fine! I'm currently pitching on "Pitcher" and it's perfect. If you could zoom out of "Pitcher Full" it'd be damn near perfect.Comment

Re: MLB 11 The Show Demo Q&A, discussion thread
No, that is not it, cuz I looked in the pitching tutorial video and the fans behind homeplate at AT&T Park are not blurry, but maybe the video was taken using a different camera instead of "broadcast." In that same video at New Yankee stadium the backstop screen was gone (which was an issue last year where the screen would disappear several times during a game) and u can clearly see all the fans behind homeplate are blurry. Again, hoping for some good news! LaterComment
