Why on some of the pitches, can I not bring the stick back to the angle I want? Is it an overthrowing thing? Will fielding cams be custom as well?

Swing influence...... I'm using timed hitting. I remember from 10 to influence a flyball , I would push up on the right stick as the pitcher would go into his wind up. How does it work in 11? I played the demo, and took a look at the controls. It shows that your suppose to press R2 and push up on the LS. First off... is this correct, and second... has anyone else played it this way to give me their opinion on whether it feels better than how it was done in 10?

Is zone hitting in the demo, if so how is it?

Is the pci shaped like a bat or still a circle?

Here's a question...Has anybody hit one into the cove yet in the demo? If not, has anyone hit any no-doubters or absolute moon shots? I have hit about 4 homeruns but they have all just barely made it over so I didnt get the cool home run view.

Circle we will never change it to be shaped like a bat.

For example, I'd love a guy with D control have a harder time for the user to get the analog sticks just right, while a guy like Lee, it should be easier.

Any idea if that's how it's going to work... or will it be purely based off user ability?
Yes Sr. just wait until you pitching with the 3,4, and 5 guys in your rotation. Stressful to say the least its much harder to paint the corners and hit your spots with those guys.

I've given up a no-doubter against the CPU. The cam is roughly the same, but gets a better view of the fielder closest to the ball as well (and you can even run with him a bit nonchalantly as he watches it go over). But I think the main difference with it is the game simply runs smoother this year, so it just looks better as is anyway.

Russ...hate to ask you directly....but I'm starting to doubt myself.
I thought I saw the OF'ers play the ball "incorrectly" occasionally with balls hit off the wall(as opposed to '10 where they would always plant themselves in the correct spot, no matter how crazy the bounce off any wall)...and have to run it down.
                    Nem doesn't remember seeing that.
Am I just nuts? ....or did you guys put in some incorrect plays off the wall this year?

                    Thanks.

                    M.K.

It's an error, as Russell said in a prevoius post it's R2+RS ^v<>.

did anyone else notice the minor minor flaw of the backstop net having about a 10ft or so empty spot? I mean ill be the first person to say i could care less about it, but some newb sees it and says o my god thats going to ruin this game! Just a quick point out.

Now that i think of it, does San Fran have an empty space in there backstop netting for a box or something? i havent watched many giants games being on the east coast so im not sure.

I'm not sure if a bug has been mentioned.. didn't feel like looking through 20+ pages.

A player on first, Linecum was batting for me. I swung the first pitch and then realized it was a pitcher and had a player on first, so I bunted on the next pitch, fouled back. Guess what.. the commentary said I reached base. Next thing I know.. I still have someone on first (not sure if it was Sandoval that was there previously or Linecum), no one on 2nd. So my next batter, Torres came up with no out.

So.. it's supposed to be a foul ball, 2nd strike. Instead they couldn't wait and just knocked him out and brought up torres and remained at 0 outs lol. Must really hate Linecum's batting

It's not an empty spot, it's some form of clear glass.

I'm sure there will be a glitch/bug thread when the full version comes out. If you see this glitch happen in the retail version you should post it then.
