In analog hitting, how do you select contact/power when using the guess pitch feature?! Is there any kind of indicator that the selection is "pre-loaded" successfully?

Make sure you have vibration enabled on your controller as I believe that's the only confirmation you get when you choose your swing type.Comment

Re: MLB 11 The Show Demo Q&A, discussion thread
Hold L1 to advance all runners before they reach the bag and let go when you've confirmed they're heading to the correct base. The other option is to aim at their location on the base path with the Left Stick. This will highlight the runner. Then press the triangle button to send them to second base (or square button for 3rd base, X for home plate etc).Comment

Nah, Knight. Your not going crazy. I saw it with you. And I remember someone saying they will not play it perfect all the time.Russ...hate to ask you directly....but I'm starting to doubt myself.
I thought I saw the OF'ers play the ball "incorrectly" occasionally with balls hit off the wall(as opposed to '10 where they would always plant themselves in the correct spot, no matter how crazy the bounce off any wall)...and have to run it down.
Nem doesn't remember seeing that.
Am I just nuts?
....or did you guys put in some incorrect plays off the wall this year?
Thanks.

I was comparing the demo with 10 from a graphical point of view, I noticed more jagged edges, might be that the demo is not antialiased?Comment

Re: MLB 11 The Show Demo Q&A, discussion thread
Where is the option where you don't have to guess location. You could just guess the pitch type and if you guessed right, it would show where the pitch is without having to guess the location.Comment

Re: MLB 11 The Show Demo Q&A, discussion thread
If I guess the right zone, then yes it shows up. I usually always guess down and it will show that it's going to hit the dirt and so forth so an easy ball to take. If you guess the right pitch, then the screen will kinda shake and turn red.Comment

Re: MLB 11 The Show Demo Q&A, discussion thread
how do you get a nice smooth fielding animation
every time i have to field a ball, i move the right stick and see the meter loading, by player always stops with a green ring around him, then begins the animation
every once in a while i get a smooth animation, but often there is a pause in betweenComment
