I've been struggling to find a suitable camera before. I tried Offset 5 and immediately hit my first base hit and homer with the analog controls.

Orioles comcast to start off with want to see how well can hit , But once I find my visual spot on the screen to switch from soft to fine focus eye transition picking up the release point then everything just goes smooth from there

What camera angles are we using for hitting and batting in MLB 11 The Show

I think this would be cool to post the camera angles you guys use for your hitting and pitching perspectives

For me I keep switching between Cather 4 and 5. But cannot settle on one yet

For pitching I use broadcast which is what that teams stadium uses. It gives a nice fresheness to it but some stadiums put the pitching meter on a bad spot like covering the hitters face. You can edit the cursor position

If I had to pick one cam for pitchign it would be the Boston Redsox one or the Chicago White Sox. Excellent cams

For hitting I think i'm going to be using the generic catcher cam. I have been using this cam for years now and have really gotten a good feel for it. I tried catcher cam 5, but I find I am having trouble with the high strikes on this cam, just like some of you have with low strikes on the default cam. For pitching I really like the idea of the broadcast cams for each home team. Will give a different feel to each road game. I tried the Pitcher Full cam and I really enjoyed this one too. For fielding I think I will be using the high cam. It gives you a better view to track balls in the outfield.

I feel you on the cather 5 cam. That is why I use cather 4

I'm using broadcast for pitching and a custom camera for hitting. Based on offset, zoomed out a bit and lowered it.

I think I'm going to use catcher cam 4 and then customize it by zooming out a little. I love the hitting cam on the 2K11 demo. I think it's easier to read the low strikes (which have always been a problem with The Show for me) and by zooming out it will hopefully make it easier to track the ball to the plate. I'll also lower pitch speed as well to help with that, but the new custom cams are going to make hitting so much more fun.

ok I use regular catcher cam one for hitting, however for pitching when I use broadcast at Camden Yards, the pitching meter for analog blocks any lefty's head. I don't know about other parks but I'm sure it happens else where. Is there a way to fix this?

Broadcast for pitching and Catcher 2 for hitting.

Yea I noticed that as well in Camden

What you need to do is go to custom 1 and edit that camera to Baltimore Cam and press Triangle to bring up the pitch meter and you can move it around or make it small or larger

I find catcher 5 is great. I also use the same cam for both because I the angle is the same and you get used to trajectories.

Pitching: Minn Broadcast zoomed out a tad
Batting: Catcher 5 (Think it was 5) tweaked a bit.

Pitching = Broadcast, hitting = Catcher or Wide Offset... haven't decided yet.
