started off playing exhibition Yankees at Tigers w/ rain and all i can say so far is that graphics wise it looks great, the rain really adds a new dimension to the game

haven't been able to play more then a few inning, but i must say this game is smooth. Th e thing i love is each year its gets better they don't try to reinvent the wheel, but it feel like a different game ( not 10.5 as some have described) IMO i don't see how anyone could just keep playing a previous version. I payed a little bit extra and i can without a doubt say that it was worth it. The thing everyone need to understand is with a series that comes out once every 12 month- there is no perfect.... but SCEA sure does come close .... just an opinion through everyones is diffrent

I can't play until the kids go to bed tonite.

I am a Mets fan and I can tell those people who care that they still have the bullpens wrong.

I played a round of HR derby and they have a cool homerun trajectory after the round is up.

The online servers were not up as of this morning. But there was a roster update. It allowed me to agree to the user agreement for sports connect and then said you lost your connection to sports connect.


The mets Rotation as of right now is :

Johan Santana
Mike Pelfrey
Jon Niese
Chris Young
RA Dickey


Capuano was in AAA
Oliver Perez was in bullpen

The game feels like 2010 but cleaner.

I would use a camera as a analogy.

The focus has been adjusted and everything feels smoother and looks cleaner.

The game is still optimized for 720 P.

I changed my settings to 1080 P only and corrected the horizontal and vertical all the way up. Love the way this game looks.


I will be in a heavy gaming session after 8:00 P.M. est.

well guys I lucked out so Im gonna give you guys some impressions for the next week...


from my very short time so far I have to say WOW....love it....love all the Analog, especially the fielding..graphics are more crisp and vibrant than the demo just plays great..will get into more detail a little later....

Front end- much easier and neater..lots of options, pick your team and you have that teams stadium as your background.

Rosters-as I dig in a little with rosters, I love the fact that there are 3 groups of FA, FA1, FA2 and FA3...looks like we get extras in place of the HOF...very cool..

Loving the rain effects..slipping sliding, dropped balls

also the uniform select screen is great mix and matching is awesome

the analog pitching works really well and is the best addition IMHO...love it...every pitcher feels unique....aces like aces and bums like ..well bums...lol

Looking at the rosters the player potential is much better this year..young prospects that should be A's are A's etc (D.brown, A.chapman etc)

Its very similar to last years but more neater/cleaner and much nicer overall....the lighting is gorgeous and animations much smoother....Cliff Lee looks spot on and pitches spot on as well.

Nationals fans...Strasburg looks great..motions perfect...during exhibition they even make a comment about his surgically repaired shoulder..perfect!

guys its been a looooong day...drove 2hours each way for the game as well as worked all day..so im beat. I will be back tommorow night with some more details such as players, parks, uniforms etc....i really have only scratched the surface today with it. I will attempt to post pics as well over the next few days but remember I have a family and a career so its gonna be when time is good...I have begun working on the OS (Knights ) rosters already so that by the 8th we should be set with at least 3-4 teams complete...later

While pitching with Verlander last night I took a screamer right to my body and the new animation is great! Verlander was writhing around on the ground as if he was shot!! Then Leyland came out and visited him...the only odd thing was Verlander was fine and didn't seem to take a hit in stamina, health, nothing.....With how he was rolling around he definitely should not have probably continued
