Has there been any word on if the closer position has been fixed in this mode? Have always wanted to use one but it's never allowed you enough points to reach goals.

Well they did revamp the way you earn points this year so hopefully this is one of the things they fixed. I don't think we'll know until we get a larger sample size of people playing.

Yea, Its just annoying that you play for a single team for however long and then you can't even take a chance at Free Agency.

Is anyone who is really good at making faces (like those who work on the OS Full Minor rosters) willing to take requests? I'd like to have my face made this year for my RTTS player, and every year I try to make a decent one and it never turns out looking anything like me. If anyone is able to do this, I could send you a picture. Thanks.

I'm hoping the revamped goals systems evens out all the positions, so it's actually practical to play as positions other than 1B/SP.

Also, one thing that annoyed me last year was when you picked a specific team instead of doing the draft...getting traded by the team you picked a week in. I get it that the draft is the realistic way to do it, but if i decide to choose my own team it's because I want to play for that team...not get traded off it instantly.

I wonder how the points system will balance out.

I just started playing and it seems like it may be easier to gain points, I was getting 60-120 every game as a position player and the training costs the same as far as I can tell. It seems like you get more for the training practice too. And it is now 8 weeks before skills diminish.

As far as I can tell the trading system in the game is still garbage, Cubs trading Garza and Zambrano away two months into the season for one prospect each. And then Pena for Moreland.

Everything is easy to see at least, except you cant hit triangle anywhere to go to locker room as far as I can tell. But why cant they put a day total on everything instead of weeks, if my skills diminish in 3 days tell me. I dont want to have to check every day during the last week for a skill I have no use for but dont want to go to 0.

It is annoying, but if the point of RTTS is to work your way up to the majors and to sort of replicate the progression of a prospect than you should get traded frequently as prospects are dealt all over the place at all times. It would be nice to have an option to turn being traded off, maybe there is I haven't checked.

Made a CF playing for Yankees with a speedy power hitter on veteran (to get used to analog hitting). Started in Trenton Thunder on the bench. Became the starting LF due to injury by the second week of the season. However, I made a few errors but was hitting .385 with 17 RBI so I got moved to starting DH. After two round of goals, I was moved to the starting CF (I raised my fielding, but not sure if it made a difference.). I'm in mid june and hitting .445, so I am contemplating moving to all star for batting.

Loving every minute so far with the exception of having to rest every two games due to low durability. Of course this happens every year.

Yea I made a high contact. hopefully fast ss with a good glove and decent arm strength. I was drafted by the blue jays and started as a bench player. My backup position was just IF so I started some games at 1b and 2b. I was hitting great even though i have been using zone hitting, haven't decided yet to use analog hitting yet, and I became the everyday SS batting leadoff. I'm only a few weeks into the season so who knows. The base running controls are pretty weird in rtts. I kept getting picked off making dumb mistakes and was benched haha, so i went back to the old base running controls.

hen everyone can update thier RTTS player in that thread.

How do you play as batter:
you play only your at bats and no fielding or you play both ?
