Started my pitcher this year, last year mine went 20-6 and won AL ROY and Cy Young with BAL.

Drafted by the Diamondbacks, this year going with 4SFB, RFB, CIR.

First I have to say, what a massive improvement this game is over The Show 10. While the analog hitting and pitching could probably be dropped, the RTTS mode with its new point system makes for much better gameplay. Also, being able to adjust your tendencies helps the game become much more fun from the initial start.

I have noticed that getting to the show is much harder this time. They say its based on your play and ability now but after creating 3 fielders who are all at the top of their positions in the organization, meeting their goals, posting 40 HR's with a .450 batting average, im still left with the same message every goal advancement "youre ready for the show but we just dont have the roster space". Everything seems to be in place but if the player youre gunning it out for in the show is on a cold streak, he needs to be sent packing back to AAA while you accept your rightful gaming role as the next sensation in the MLB. I feel like the new system makes creating your player much faster and better but the logic in promotion is still failing, I was promoted way faster in MLB 10 without the "new logic".

Game play is much more improved as they have gotten rid of the T-Rex movements the creators complained about. This leads to much more fluid movement with a more realistic looking character. And who can complain about the extension of the decline of attributes? 8 weeks instead of 4? I think im on board for that. But like I said, if you cant use all of these new points to get yourself to the show faster, then what is the purpose?

The points are nowhere to be found.

There is no place to download them from the PS Store, they are not in my RTTS ... how do I get a hold of these points?

You have to buy them from within your rtts guy I believe, then 1000 will be there.

OK, sense a conspiracy. I strike out one Mr. Ramone Russell to end my last appearance and what happens in my next? I walk the leadoff batter, he steals second, moves to third on a wild pitch, then come HOME on a wild pitch and I proceed to walk the batter at the plate and get pulled. Admit it Russell, you guys put some kind of code in!

I can't see the futures game on the calender only the minors league all star game. anyone else have this problem?

Anyone have problems with the game freezing for 2-3 seconds and then going back to normal once you return to the main menu for RTTS after a game is over?

Started my Rtts as a closing pitcher...got drafted by Seattle...and got to say it's awesome the new point system. Normally I choose to be an outfielder but decided I'll start one as a pitcher untill the OS Full Minor roster hits.

I'm frustrated though, as I'm pitching at 0.62 ERA, with 3/4 saves, 56 strikeouts...and I'm just past the all star game. But my coach doesn't want to make me the closer of the team...I get put in at the 7th inning most of the time, pitch brilliantly, and then for the 9th inning he puts in Doug Childs who gets all my saves....the guy has 28 or something at the moment. I do all the hard work but he gets the saves...makes me maaad! I requested a trade, and was put onto the trading block, but nothing yet.

One thing though, does anyone know if you can use custom music as your start up music? I tried but it seems you can only use the songs on the official soundtrack...and not songs of your ps3's hard drive...or am I missing something. Please answer...

I have had the exact same thing happen to me!
Always to tie the game in the late innings. Also is it just me..or is the Bigs WAY HARDER than AAA? My pitcher DOMINATED in AAA but it is a STRUGGLE just to have a sub 3.00 ERA. I must admit it is realistic but to be maxed out in all pitching attributes I would like to see 14K's per 9 with a sub 2 ERA!!!

Are you the starting Closer? I had the same problem until I became the main Closer. The earliest I come in is now is mostly the 8th inning. I mostly come in at the 9th inning.

I dont really know. I even tried to edit music like year I could edit custom music for walk up ex editing to certain parts of songs. But they dont show custom musuc in Edit Music menu or walkup/celebration
