Have a look at what Pittsburgh are looking for because if you offer a play that fits what they are looking for position wise. It is a lot easy to get a trade accepted with giving up too much.

Re: **All Trades Discussion Thread** 2011 Edition

In my Red Sox fantasy draft association im looking to deal my number 5 starter boof bonser (terrible name) and a top pitching prospect for a solid number three or four pitcher who can post big strike out numbers. I am also willing to deal Francisco Liariano and another top prospect, for either a better number 2 pitcher or a 2nd tier ace to back up strasburg or to be my number one to have an elite veteran presence at the top of my rotation. I feel pretty comfortable about my squad after spring training; just a lil weary of my rotation ( #3 James Shield & #4 Gio Gonzalez). I am willing to trade any of my prospects due to the fact of having a good young mlb squad (avg. age 26.8). So pretty much all my position players are locked into being part of RED SOX NATION for years to come. And I will not part with Shields or Gonzalez. I would love to figure out a way to accuire James Mcdonald but i dont see it happening in a deal that doesnt involve Liriano. So to sum all my babbling up lol Im looking to definetly dump Boof Bonser, Liriano, and prospects to boost my rotation. Im also willing to deal for a veteran ace by trading away Strasburg. So please hit me with all opinions and suggestions on who to go for and who to trade away.

Wow, they wouldn't even take King Felix for Chapman. But I wouldn't have done it anyways.

I'm looking for a good utility player for my bench that can play both the OF and IF, any ideas? Would prefer him to be a switch hitter, but any handiness will do.

DeRosa or Inge are probably your best options but maybe you could have a look at maybe Eric Patterson as well. He can play the OF and middle infield.

                    Mariners get:

                    Joel Zumaya
                    C prospect

                    Tigers get:

LF Scott Hairston (originally acquired from Padres)
RP Santiago Casilla (signed as FA)

I needed help at the back end of my bull pen and Zumaya fits that bill. The 7-8-9 are now lock down, with Hong-Chih Kuo. Joel Zumaya, and Daniel Bard at the back end, and my middle relief consists of Brandon League, Kenley Jansen, Dan Cortes with Manny Delcarmen being the weak link. So in other words I have one bad *** bull pen.

ok so im still looking to shop boof bonser and a prospect for a decent starting pitcher to round out my rotation, but this has become second priority. The biggest hole i have is my ACE... Strasburg just isnt cuttin it for me. While im sure he is a dominate force to some, he is the weak link of my rotation. I have pitched all three of his starts and have accumulated an over 8 era in a combined 7 n 2/3 innings with 8ks... please some one help me who is an acceptable replacement for him or do i ship him to the minors to gain his man hood back??? i dont get it i do completly awesome with everyone but Strasburg.

You might consider giving him pitching coach session training for about a month and maybe get him 3 starts in the minors now also if you want a good starting pitcher to replace him you might use your A prospect to try and get Madison Bumgarner from San Fran.

I wish i woulda read this before my impatcience took over and decided to see what i could get for Strasburg. I found the ACE i was lookin for in Justin Verlander who happens to be my all time favorite video game pitcher and they threw in a veteran lefty to boot in Jeff Francis. Im sure if I had been more patient with Strasburg i couldve possibly found a better deal for him but I am so dominate with Verlander i couldn't passs this up. And Francis will be a good spot starter to havin sittin down in AAA Pawtucket to have if any one gos down with an injury. Thank You for everyones input!

I went looking for teams in the play off hunt that were interested in a decent reliever for down the stretch.

I eventually settled on the Red Sox and i offered:
                              Trever Miller (RP)

But before the trade was accepted, the Red Sox traded Anderson in a package for Angel Guzman and traded Navarro in a package for Jimmy Rollins.

This is way cool. Not that you lost out on your trade, but that the CPU is shopping players for the best deal. I like that.

I am still playing 10, but thought I would mention a trade that was offered to me in my 2014 season. I just got offered SP Clayton Richard and LF Ryan Church by the Marlins for SP Andrew Carignan and SP Felix Doubront. I decided to take the trade since Kyle Drabek, my number 5 starter is struggling a bit. I inserted Richard into the rotation, who had a very low era and more K's than anyone on my team. I sent Church through waivers to AAA, and nobody picked him up (big surprise there, lol). Richard in his first start ended up giving up five runs on two homeruns in 6 innings of work and only K'ing 2. Might I have made a mistake? No big deal if I did, as I still have Drabek and didn't have a whole lot of hope for the other two pitching prospects I gave up.
