is Soriano for Harper a fair trade? Free up some money and get younger. I could throw in a RP prospect
Brian Kelly will have ND back this year.

Arizona State will bounce back this year too.

The Cubs will end the streak next year

Bryce Harper is supposed to be the next phenom in baseball. Soriano is a washed up left fielder that can't field to save his life and has an insane contract. No one would take on his contract for his talent....However, b/c the Show doesn't care about fielding like real life, Soriano still has some value. But not nearly enough for Harper straight up

What would be a good package? The Cubs are loaded with pitching prospects

Wrong sport, but same idea. Think what Mike Ditka gave up for Ricky Williams and double it.

I was thinking Marmol, Jackson, Soriano for Harper? Can you add more than 3 players to a trade?

Carlos Pena was patting .200 on the year, and he's on a 1 year deal, and the Cubs were out of contention. I dealt Daric Barton, Mark Ellis, and a reliever that is decent, (I forgot who it was.) for Carlos Pena and Jeff Notre Dame Football.

This forced the sweet slugging Hideki Matsui off the roster. He had an all-star campaign for me, and his value was at an all time high. I packaged Matsui, SS prospect Yordy Cabrera, and my best reliever, Michael Wuertz for Ian Desmond. The Nats are only 2GB in the division, and need a bat in LF desperately. They are big time buyers.

I still plan on dealing for Carlos Gomez on July 31st, and that would become my final deal of the deadline. 3 small deals to improve my ballclub and not gut the farm. I chose this over 2 big time trades, and I think I kept it realistic, while helping me as well.
Realistically, I can't see Pena ever coming back to Oakland. Beane hates him for some reason. But that doesn't matter because this isn't reality and Beane has been replace by you. I picked up Pena in my 10 franchise and he has a great shot at getting the triple crown. Oddly enough, he has done most of it without me. Unless they severely dropped him down, you should destroy with him. Plus he will be an upgrade at defense as well.

I think you screwed yourself on the Desmond trade though. I know you wanted to off load Matsui, but Wuertz is not only your best reliever, but should end up as a type A free agent. So you lose out on two draft picks, plus you made your bull pen weaker, which may end up being an issue down the stretch.

Good luck. I really hope Pena puts up numbers for you like he has for me. I have a club option on him for $12 mil that I will definitely exercise in the off season. He has been that damn good.

I thought about Pie, realistically what do you a good package would be?

Cousins has decent stats and is a speedy outfielder but I struggle with him, wouldn't mind some more bullpen depth as well willing to deal vasquez and promote a younger prospect as I don't think i'll make the post season.

In my Nats chise(damn its hard being a National GM), Pudge wasnt cuttin it, 200avg 2hr 12rbi, in like 150ab's. Wilson Ramos and Jesus Flores were raking in MILB(brought up Ramos, sent down Flores but now thought both of em were worthy) so I played around with Pudge, turned out RedSox wanted him. So I asked for Daniel Bard, so the deal is Pudge and an A-rated reliever. Now I'm looking to deal Ankiel(200avg 12hr 30rbi) and Livan(he stinks, 8.94era in like 8 starts) so any ideas on people to look out for? Ive tried countless times to bring in BrettGardner, but Yanks have deemed him "unavailable". so any other thoughts/package deals should try?

Ok guys, Soriano has a .133 avg 0 hr's 0 rbi's in 25 games. Who can i get for him to help the offense? The pitching is excellent. The team is 16-9 tied for first

The Nationals have offered the Bryce Harper for Jason Kipnis (I traded for Kipnis to play 3B in 2012, when Jeter shifts to DH and A-Rod goes to SS) should I accept it?
