Re: Community Day - GAMEPLAY question and answer
I looked at the trophy list, but I didn't write them down. Of course, we were unlocking some as we played. There were more stadium specific trophies, trophies pertaining to pulse pitching, and hitting the ball off of a base. Two that I remember and found funny (that I won't give away) were "Million Dollar Arm" and "Take Out The Competition" - but you can probably figure them out.Comment

I didn't see any celebrations personally, so I can't answer that. Maybe the other guys can. One thing that is cool is, if a guy is an All-Star, they recognize that graphically (OSD) that for the remainder of the season.

Re: Community Day - GAMEPLAY question and answer
I just wanted to say thank you to Pared and all the other participants for going out there and doing such a great job representing the community (and bringing back all this great info!). Thanks also to SCEA for hosting this kind of event, it certainly sounds like they are committed to constantly improving an already exceptional game.Comment

Re: Move batting contols.
Can you talk a little more about how well (or not well) this works. And specifically does it track inside/outside and high/low? ie: if there's a pitch low and outside, can it tell that I'm reaching out there to get the ball? Is there any chance that it combines movement of the PCI with the swing timing?Steam: BahnzoComment

In Franchise or Season mode is there an option of amount of games. Usually it's (162, 81, 45, 29, 14) is there like a 60-75) option?Comment

Re: Community Day - GAMEPLAY questions/concerns/inquiries
1. Does pitcher confidence still reset when loading an in-game save file?
I did not get a chance to save a game and start it up again, sorry!
2. Since outfielders presumably move and throw slower this year, and the ball physics presumably cause batted balls to move faster this year, is MLB 12 The Show more offensively friendly? I.E. If a player batted realistically on Default AS in 11, would the CES guys recommend batting on HOF (to start) in 12?
I played all star, HOF and Legend. With 2 player games All Star gave you the most dynamic scores. In single player games All Star and HOF seemed to offer a good mix. Legend was tough to get a lot of offense and the scores were 3-2, 2-1, 1-0 etc.
3. Since pitcher confidence has been rewritten, what are your impressions? Specifically, how are BB's and K's impacted. Last year, I noticed that CPU pitchers seemed to throw a slightly inordinate amount of strikes on 3 ball counts. Has this changed? Are BB's more dynamic amoungst control/wild pitchers? And as far as K's go, the CPU seemed to make a lot of contact on 2 strike counts. Has the pitcher confidence revamp impacted this?
The biggest thing I found with the confidence is that it was more stable. Giving up a few hits does not turn your pitcher into a scared turtle collapsing into his shell. You will be able to work out of jams at a realistic pace.
As far as walks go, it felt pretty dynamic from pitcher to pitcher. Occasionally I saw the situation of the first 3 pitches called for balls and then he became a strike machine right after that but it was not too often.
4. Curveballs were in my opinion the least effective offspeed pitch in 11'. How do CPU hitters react the curveballs this year? Similarly? Differently?
I noticed this year if you mix your pitches well you can get the CPU swinging and they appeared to get fooled a little more then they have in the past. This goes for any pitch by the way!“The saddest part of life is when someone who gave you your best memories becomes a memory”Comment
