A quick note on the new umps. I thought they were well done and some definitely have their own interpretation of the strike zone. Some of them are real MF'ers ! Some are stingy, some generous and some just will not give you one side of the plate no matter how hard you try. I did not get a chance to see how these carried from game to game when they were behind the plate again but everyone should enjoy this aspect. Well, I guess it will depend on what side of the call you are on!

Yes, the Mets beat the Yanks in the annual co-op series 2-1. And Knight did a fantastic job on AUTO settings!

I've got a question that I forgot to ask for Community Week.

How possible would it be to include a new "category" to the Create A Player mode? Let me explain..

Say I wanted to create George Brett to place on a 1985 Royals roster that I'm putting together. As I'm going through the player info page, there would be an option to select how many years of service my player has. If you're creating a rookie, then obviously you would select 0 and move on. However.. since I'm creating 1985 George Brett, I would choose 12.

Then as I'm moving through the different screens in the CAP, I would come to a "Career Statistics" category. In this screen I would have the option to edit/add statistics for my player. Since, in past years, The Show has only included career numbers and numbers from the previous season, we can start there. I would have the option to input Brett's career numbers as well as his numbers from the previous season (in this case, 1984).

Now, ideally, I would love to see The Show expand their career statistics for players to include all professional seasons and if this were to ever happen, then maybe we could have the option to edit all previous season statistics for our created player (In the case of my 1985 Brett, this would include all 12 previous season's statistics).

I know I love historic rosters and this would be a way for them to really come alive.

Anyways.. Just a thought.

They are the new physics is the only code in the game it can't be turned on or off. However the ball is "juiced" in HR derby just like last year to facilitate more HRs.

Is the ball also "juiced" in Batting Practice Mode?

Also any chance we can switch to different batters and Pitchers in Battimg Practice Mode without having to go back to the main menu? And can we get more then 20 pitches to each batter in batting practice mode?

Just a random point: I spent a good deal going over Brandon Phillips for Reds fans - he now has his correct HR follow through. His timing mechanism couldn't get in though.

However, if I have fielding and basrunning on auto, but don't allow any hits and hit only triples(I think even I could run those out manually!)....is it really auto?(slight exaggeration here!)!!

Did anybody go over Jon Jay? How difficult is it to animate his batting stance, swing, and follow through?

Forgot to ask this earlier. Are you able to play co-op in franchise/season mode this year? I know they said they were trying to put it in last year but couldn't.
