Re: MLB 12 The Show - Vita Impressions Thread
For people playing season/franchise on Vita...
Have you guys been seeing rain days often enough? Well "often" is subjective of course, but after playing roughly 300 CPU vs CPU games in April exclusively on Vita, I think there have been only a couple rain days.
This was a bug in 11, but I thought was fixed (at least on PS3 I believe).
If people are seeing the same issue, I may file a bug report....Comment

I haven't seen a single one. I'm playing a mini fantasy season between the two with the reds. 29 games iirc.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Why when I go the the online gamerooms, are they mixed with PS3 players? I thought they were supposed to be seperate. It's annoying, I have to post on the board that I have a Vita and wait around to see if anyone else does, since most people have a PS3. Is anybody else bothered by this?Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show - Vita Impressions Thread
I know this is an impressions thread but I need to know if there is an online users guide for the Vita version? My game came with nothing but an online code. There is literally no manual at all and I can't seem to fine one built into the game.
I'd like to know specifically how to lead off further and how to leap for a homerun ball. When I run back to the fence my player stays facing the wall.....I press the RT and he dives into the wall....he doesn;t leap. WHen I try to lead off....I just outright steal.
Any help would be appreciated.Comment

Lead off with right analog stick. If you want to lead off first, push the stick to the left. The right trigger does make the player jump, make sure you are close enough to the wall when you press it.

Re: MLB 12 The Show - Vita Impressions Thread
You just press the button, otherwise it would be Zone batting. There's no PCI in timing to move around. If you're asking if I move the L-stick just for fun while in Timing, then yeah I do, but I rarely play Timing only.
Atlanta Braves - Auburn Tigers - Nashville Predators

All you have to do is press X. The players' rating, and your timing of the swing, will determine where the PCI winds up and how it squares up a pitch.Currently Playing:

Re: MLB 12 The Show - Vita Impressions Thread
40 games into my season and haven't had a rain delay yet. Incidently I bought a used PS3 on the cheap, a used tv, (I had sold my other PS3 b/c couldn't get much game time in due to family and all) and The Show. One thing that stands out huge is it's tougher to make decent contact with the ball on the Vita. Used my Vita sliders on the PS3 and I transformed from a minor league hitter into Albert Pujols. Like the game better on the Vita. It's tougher to hit, field and make good throws in the field. My pitchers are more effective on the Vita thoughComment
