Does anybody else feel like the game will force you to have slumps? Like no matter what you do, you will not succeed?

I'm playing on All-Star and my AVG is .468, so I'm at least decent at the game. I'll go on a tear for a few games, but then suddenly I'll do nothing for a week or so (even though I'm doing nothing differently). It's frustrating because pitchers will groove me fastballs, and it will say my timing is Perfect, yet I'm only making weak contact. Then after a handful of 0-4, 1-4, etc games, I'm back to raking the ball...again, without making any adjustments.

      Anybody else notice this?

Prime ****ing example. I haven't had a single multi-hit game since I made this post. My AVG has dropped 100 points. fml

Do you honestly expect yourself to hit .468 throughout the whole season? Expectations for some of you guys lolol. It's baseball and if you hit the ball 3 out of 10 times, your considered successful. You were hitting it almost 5 out of 10 times and that is pretty much impossible to do for an entire season.

About to start up a CF, I want to be a good hitter (Power and average) and I want to be a speedster. How is the best way to "progress" your player? Like what should I work on first and how many points should I put into each category. Basically I want to know how to "raise" my player. Help me out?

Just got called up to the Rays on July 4, in my second season with RTTS! Bad news is that they're 14 games out of the AL East race :/

I swear the fielding of my Triple A Team is horrible!

I'm the starting pitcher for the New Orleans Zephry's (Marlins affiliate).. It's only June of my rookie year, got called up after like 3 AA starts..

So anyways to the point.. Every time in all 3 starts I've given up 5-4-5 runs.. But only about 2/3 ER's per game.. Each game I'm always rolling along, 3-5 innings of very few hits and no runs.. Then the defense takes stupid pills and starts screwing up! Especially the SS and Right Field.. First the SS will commit an error, to get a man on.. Then the next batter hits a double play ball to 2B and instead the second basemen muffs it (somehow not an error) so again no out but now 2 on despite me getting the ball hit where I want.. Then the ball gets hit to right and instead of just taking it off the bounce he dives and misses (this happens ALOT!) so instead of maybe 1 run scoring, 2 do! Ugh!!

And my stats so far (June 11,2012) for AAA

                          Joshua Furr, SP, NOLA (Marlins)

3 times I've threw my glove at the Gatorade cooler (or at least wanted to)

I had the same problem in one of my previous RTTS. Think I was playin on All Star mode. I even lost a few games with not even giving up a earned run. Still made the Marlins in late July though. Oddly enough I was with the Ranger (AA Affli) to start and was trade to The Marlins (like my current RTTS but havent gotten trade or promoted) after 5 or 6 starts I think. Hope it works out though

Seriously... 91 mph in AA is like 74 mph in AAA. This is nuts. 91 mph should be 91 mph regardless of who is throwing it.
