How are the Reds doing? I'm thinking you might be able to net Homer Bailey, Todd Frazier (could replace Chipper at 3B) and a pitching prospect for Jurrjens and Rasmus.

Why trade Rasmus? Can't he play LF for you next year if Bourns stays in CF? Prado moving to the IF?

Between Venters and O'Flaherty, I'd keep Venters.
The more I thought about it the more I agreed with you. I have Vernon Wells in LF, I needed a power righty and the Angels pretty much gave him away. So Prado is my SS. I expect Chipper to retire after this season(year 1) and I plan to slide Prado to 3B. I am planning to start Rasmus in LF next year, only thing i don't like is having an all lefty OF.

I'm not really sold on Pastornicky, Do you guys think I could get a good SS for Pastornicky and Jurrjens? If so, any suggestions? I have no plan to resign JJ, so I want to move him this year.

Cincinnati's Neftali Soto is on the trade block on my franchise, his position is 1B and his secondary positions are 2B, 3B, and SS, anyone know if he can really play the middle infield spots?

If he can I might try to trade for him, whats he worth ?

He's really just 1b/3b according to fangraphs

1 B prospect would be fair, unless you can offer an immediate starting CF or SS.

First thought as a rock solid fit for Pastornicky and Jurrjens was San Diego. Will only net you prospects coming back though but that might be an option. You could get Bartlett back as a part of the deal if you'd like.

Yea I went to the Padres with Jurrjens (not Pastornicky though since he has been hitting around the .275 mark).

You could def add in Pastornicky IMO and bring back a few prospects. Something like 2Bs and a C would be a fair deal imo.

I'm the Jays. Trying to get Ackley from Mariners. I would like to give up McGuire/Thames, Jenkins, and one of Rasmus/Marisnick/Gose. Also thinking of getting Jake Peavy. Thoughts/ideas?

You guys think the Brewers would agree to send Greinke for Beckett, Lars Anderson and Anthony Ranuado? Would the Sox even think about trading Beckett?

Would Ryan Howard be too unrealistic to trade for if we are half way through the season and the Phillies are in last place?

Wanted to bring in a power bat to replace ARam. Ryan Howard would move Gamel over to third so he could play 1st and bring a extremely powerful and productive bat to my lineup.

Just wondering what you guys think, if its too unrealistic, I'll just go with Reynolds.

Too unrealistic!!! More realistic would be getting Carlos Lee. I assuming you are the Brewers. Send Houston an B and C+ prospect.

Yeah I'm the Crew. I was thinking about Reynolds too but I never even thought of Lee. The Astros are in last place as well and it would be cool bringing Lee back to Miller Town. Thanks!

Yea NFG4M37 pointed it out first. Lee in my opinion would fit nicely in that lineup. Yw
