Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I'm playing as the White Sox and Want to make a deal for Lincicum. I can make a deal with Philly for Utley and then just trade him to the giants with peavy for him. I don't care if the deal isn't real. I just want it to be somwhat fairComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
The only deal is could see you doing for Utley would be Chris Sale and Gordon Beckham. WHite Sox have no prospects to work with so your kinda screwed thereComment

Umm i mean no I don' think so, it would never happen either just cause you don't know about Peavy and Utley is injury prone.Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Im looking to trade Adam Lind for a good middle of the lineup bat and have no idea what his value would be. I want someone who hits for a high average and has some power as well. He has pretty good pop against righties but doesn't hit for a high average for me. Im willing to throw some prospects in too.
Doesn't matter what position the player coming back is, as I have Edwin Encarnacion, Derrek Lee and Jose Bautista who can all play first if needed.
Guys I have looked at so far are Michael Young(bring him back to Toronto, and can play all over the infield), Mark Trumbo(Anaheim are probably unlikely to trade him, especially for another 1b) and Matt Holiday(not sure what I would have to give up) but I am open to anyone else who fits the bill.Comment

IMO, gose and marisnik is too much for young....i wouldn't give up that package for holliday eitherSteelers | Seminoles | A's | Rockets | Avalanche | Wildcats, Hoosiers | LiverpoolComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Marisnick and/or Gose I would be reluctant to trade, but I do have plenty of outfielders so it is a possibility.
Hutchison is off the table tho just because in my franchise I had Romero, Morrow gone for 2-3 months. Also have Cecil gone for the year and Richmond just came back but during that time he pitched great.
I will have to look at a Lind + Marisnick/Gose + A pitcher package and see whats realistic. My team is struggling right now but at the same time giving up a few young guys wouldn't be realistic unless I get a somewhat young player back.Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I am still in April in my Mets Chise but I want to replace Chris Young. I just need a solid fifth starter that is cheap and someone that can eat up innings for a year until Harvey, Wheeler, Familia are ready.
They also have to be cheap as the only player I'm willing to trade are Torres, Young, a couple OK relievers, and a couple of prospects. Any ideas?
And I looked at Wade Davis but the Rays didn't want to give him. I'll try again when I am through with this game.Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I have another question. What is Lucas Duda's trade value for say an AL that needs a DH and OF help. I like his offense but it isn't anywhere worth the amount of agony his defense give me.

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Here are my ideas for my upcoming Cubs franchise, from most important to least.
- Alfonso Soriano
-- AL team needing a DH that is in the Playoff hunt
---Level of talent depends on production
----Expectations: 2 C level players
-Marlon Byrd
--Team needing a right handed hitter
---Level of talent much like the real trade
----Expectations: 1 C level player
-Ryan Dempster
--Team needing a starting pitcher that is in the Playoff hunt
---Level of talent depends on production and level of need by the team
----Expectations: 1 B (maybe) and 2 C's
-Carlos Marmol
--Team needing a late inning pitcher
---Level of talent depends on Marmol
----Expectations: 1 B and 1 CComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
i think u can squeeze a B (instead of 2 C's) out of an AL team for Soriano (depending on production of course) but other than that i'd tend to agree with every1 elseSteelers | Seminoles | A's | Rockets | Avalanche | Wildcats, Hoosiers | LiverpoolComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
In my Braves 'chise Jason Heyward is STRUGGLING. For some reason I can't hit with the guy, in the 3rd week of May he's hitting .144 with 4 HR's & 11 RBI's. I'm gonna send him down to the minors for a while and if he doesn't get it together I believe I'm gonna be forced to trade him.
So my question for you guys is what is fair value for him if I do decide to trade him? A good OF'er in return would be preferable.Comment
