But, you know, if you like realism.... god no lol. Heck, if you even like fairness, then don't do it haha.

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Anyone have any opinions for a trade involving the Padres in need of some offense? I played about 50 games in this franchise and simmed the rest- all the way to the 2013 offseason. I have a ton of cap space coming off the books in Hudson, Street, Bartlett, etc. (this looks to be the case for the Padres IRL too)- however the free agent market looks weak.
Basically any position is in need of an upgrade minus 1B, CF, and catcher. All prospects are on the block. Thanks in advance!
Edit- Anyone think a Hanley Ramirez could be put together and realistic?Last edited by Coper3000; 05-03-2012, 06:32 PM.Comment

In my Mets franchise I need a pitcher. I want to try and trade for Fausto Carmona.
What would be a fair/realistic trade for him?Comment

Do you think that would get the deal done? I figured Grandal would have to be included, as well as a replacement like Gyroko (or Darnell), but figured I would have to throw in a SP like Sampson, Kelly, or even Oramas.Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Currently sitting 26-10 (best in MLB) with my dodgers.
The Rays put Hellickson on the trade block looking for a catcher. I offered them Chad billingsly, and a b prospect catcher since I traded for Conger earlier in the season. I free'd up about 7 mil after getting rid of Billingsley. Do you think this was a good move? Hellickson will become my 2nd starter behind Kershaw.Comment

Didn't make much sense to me, but I guess that's what happens when you only control one team. I don't even know why they put him on the trade block, he's 4-1 with 2.28 ERAComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
They've put him on the trade block in every one of my franchises as well. I think it's because they have a plethora of starting pitchers and their catchers are not very good, they try and take a position of strength and and trade it for a position of weakness. It's actually not the dumbest thing I've seen the cpu do on a franchice.Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I guess Billingsley is 5-1 and has a similar if not lower ERA, but Hellickson being rookie of the year last year and coming at a MUCH cheaper price I'm going to make that trade all day hahaComment
